'Try Knights' TV Anime Reveals Additional Cast Members [Update 5/24]

The official website of the television anime adaptation of Chizuka Erisawa and Shunsaku Yano's Try Knights rugby manga announced three additional cast members on Thursday. The anime series produced by Gonzo, in cooperation with the Japan Rugby Football Union, will begin airing in Summer 2019.

Tomomi Houryuu: Seiji Maeda (Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara)


Pearce Valentine Shoutani: Shuuta Morishima (Battery)


Seiichirou Nada: Yoshiki Nakajima (Hinamatsuri)

Based on Yano's scenario and featuring Erisawa's artworks, Try Knights began its serialization in Monthly Comic Gene in June 2018. Manga artist Rihito Takarai (Ten Count) and Try Knights Union are credited for the original character design and original concept, respectively. Kadokawa published the first two compiled volumes on March 27.

Kinda disappointed with the character designs. I'll still give the anime a shot tho

This is a trivial orientation to the female audience, I do not know whether this can serve as a parameter to assess the quality of the show. Yuri on ICE! was a pretty good drama despite the even greater overload of bishonens.
