'Plunderer' TV Anime Announces Main Staff Members

Kadokawa opened an official website for the previously announced anime adaptation of Suu Minazuki's Plunderer manga on Friday, revealing the main staff members.

Staff
Director: Hiroyuki Kanbe (Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai)
Series Composition: Masashi Suzuki (Rail Wars!)
Character Design: Yuka Takashina (Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.), Yuuki Fukuchi (Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata ♭ chief animation director), Hiroki Fukuda (Persona 5 the Animation animation director)
Studio: GEEKTOYS

Minazuki launched the action fantasy manga in Shounen Ace in December 2014, nine months after concluding his Sora no Otoshimono manga in the same magazine. Kadokawa published the 11th volume last November and plans to release the 12th compiled volume on March 26.

Yen Press licensed the manga in English in 2018 and will also publish the first volume on March 26.

The art style and character design does looks like this anime have some hope to be actually good, but I still won't raises my expectation too high due to GEEKTOYS being a new studio and their first anime was kinda mess.

I guess the director and series composition may be fine based on their works (Not so much on director since most of his works at comedy based rather than action genre), but the studio........ I afraid the anime will gonna be bad........

Anyway I hope Jail will be voiced by either Tsuda Kenjirou or Koyasu Takehito lol.

That's not key visual but it's a cover page from the first manga chapter lol, the official site is most likely used the manga image as placeholder for key visual:

i dont know the staffs and the studio just had 1 anime, i hope they dont destroy it since the manga is so damn good especially the artstyle

love the manga, hope people don’t judge the MC too quickly because he’s actually a really good guy
the rest of the characters are really lovable too, one of the reasons why i loved the manga
still look forward to the anime though i don’t have any expectations of it as a adaptation

I've been following the manga of this since last year and the story was kinda weird for me though it's "unique" on its own.

Well, I was only reading it because the art was really good and I like some of its ecchi stuff (pretty much close, but not surpassing, to Sora no Otoshimono's level).

Considering GEEKTOYS's reputation (1 anime produced with a score of less than 6.00 on MAL), I have very low expectations.

All I hope is the animation will be at least decent for me to enjoy watching.
