Dengeki G's Comic Magazine Ends Physical Publication

The official website for Dengeki G's Comic Magazine has announced that the magazine will end publicizing at May issue of the magazine releasing on March 30.

The magazine was an extension of Dengeki G's magazine that originally had manga serialized via via Kadokawa and ASCII Media Works on April 2014. There is also free digital version that releases via BOOK☆WALKER, Pixiv Comic, and Nico Nico Seiga since August 2012. Many of the manga adaptations to popular series such as Angel Beats franchise, Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, Love Live! franchise, Charlotte franchise, Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru franchise, and more were published on the magazine. All of the currently serialized manga will be moved to digital release.

Fascinating news, but no surprise one of the first magazines to take this course is from an imprint regarded more for light novels than its manga circulation.

Looks like digital will be the future of all manga including Otaku centric titles. It's only a matter of time before Manga Time Kirara ends up going all digital or the serialized titles themselves.
