Short ONA 'Otona no Bouguya-san' Gets New Episodes

The official website for Otona no Bouguya-san short ONA series has announced a new anime series. Subtitled Uramen, the anime will stream exclusively on dTV for three episodes on March 6, 13, and 20. In this new series, Yui Ogura (Yama no Susume series) will join the main cast members as Emina.

There will be an event where all the original short ONA series and this Uramen new series will be screened on March 29. Mark Ishii (Kautz), Yui Ogura (Emina), Junichi Yamamoto (director, series composition), and Shun Fukutome (Producer) will attend for a talk show with Yuko Gibu (Tamayura series) as host.

Otona no Bouguya-san is based on web manga series of same title by Fumi Ayamiya that serialized via Ganma! Since September 2017. One physical volume was released as of November 2018. The web manga series received short anime adaptation by Imagica Lab. which it streamed on the Ganma! application as well as airing on TV last Fall.

So it changed from a medieval Dragon Quest-esque setting to a Persona or Tokyo Xanadu type setting? WTF. At least it has Yui Ogura in the main cast, so it does have that going for it.
