'High Score Girl' OVA Announces New Cast Members

The official website for the previously announced OVA episodes of High Score Girl anime series has announced additional cast members. The three extra episodes, which will serve as episodes 13 to 15 of the anime, will be covering the battle between Haruo and Koharu, and will also be included in a volume titled Extra Stage releasing on March 20, 2019, besides streaming on Netflix in March 2019.

This anime is one among my favorites. It was both a wonder and a nostalgic experience for me, considering that I had a SNES with Street Fighter II in my youth and used to play with my brother and dad. Really awaiting a 2nd season after this OVAs (pls netflix, do some thing proper as a minimum one time)

not even close, barely reach half way through (including this 3 episodes)

I didnt read the manga maybe you can confirm yourself by reading spoiler (lul).

from the trailer we'll only get 1 volume worth of adapttion (v5) and some extra chapter or two to resolve the battle

they're definitely saving the rest for later lul

Eps 13-15 should cover Vol. 5, which is Chs#28-33. If they keep the pacing, there's room for a 2nd 12 ep season, plus a 2nd 3 ep OVA, for a total of 30 eps.

If we should be so lucky! The best stuff comes in the later chapters, IMO.

I’m aware that the manga has ended but I didn’t realise that the anime has already almost caught up to the end, I hope it ends well then.

It has 10 volumes though (but only 65 chapter),
If its just an OVA theres no reason to mark it as episode 13,14,15.
Might as well go 13-24 for second season.

Though 10 volumes can be done for 24 episode instead.
