Seiyuu Mahito Tsujimura Dies

Seiyuu Agency 81 Produce announced on Thursday that seiyuu Mahito Tsujimura died on Tuesday. He was 88 years old. The funeral was held among the family.

Tsujimura was in Theatre Piccolo, Gekidan Komadori, Theatre Echo, and Production Baobab before entering 81 Produce. His seiyuu debut was as the Old Man from Ribbon no Kishi in 1967. He also voiced Konoemon Konoe from the Mahou Sensei Negima! series, Deckard from Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven, King Jihl from Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä, Heiji Uzumasa Ookawa from the Nintama Rantarou series, Odama from One Piece, and Abogadojiya from Sore Ike Anpanman to name a few. He was also an actor who had been featured in several series, such as NHK's Taiga Drama series.
