Additional 'Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai' Cast Announced
Yuu Ishigami: Ryouta Suzuki (Net-juu no Susume)
Ai Hayasaka: Yumiri Hanamori (Yuru Camp△)
Yutaka Aoyama (Drifters) will serve as the narrator in the anime. The ending theme "Sentimental Crisis" will be performed by halca.
Akasaka launched the manga in Miracle Jump in May 2015, which subsequently transferred to Young Jump in March 2016. Shueisha published the 11th volume on September 19 along with the Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai Shousetsu-ban: Shuuchiin Gakuen Nanafushigi side story novel. The 12th volume will go on sale on December 19. Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai has a cumulative 3.25 million copies of its compiled volumes in circulation, including digital editions.

Some people said the same thing here one year ago :)
I don't know why some people really think the manga is near the end. You still have Kaguya's father's problem and I don't see the author getting past this and rush the ending, even though I'll admit that it's possible to solve everything in one volume (like ten chapters) if the author really wants to end the story that fast. I just doubt it the same way I doubted it one year ago.
I do hope A-1 doesn't destroy Fujiwara's greatness. For once we have a "big boobs airhead" that is NOT a disaster of a characterization, I hope they will adapt the right chapters in that regards. (For that reason, I hoped that studio Deen would not do the adaptation, it's already a relief they were discarded).
And if Iino doesn't show up it 's really too bad since I think her appearance added indirectly a lot to the others' characterization, in particular Ishigami and Fujiwara.
About the pace : they don't have to adapt every chapter, even though many are referenced in later ones.
The point is its closer to the end than it is to the start and there's a clear time limit with graduation and everything being really close. They are obviously slowing down how much time is passing in universe like they have been because its so close to a definitive conclusion. Of course theres alot to still go into and likley some light hearted fillerish bits left, but its pretty damn apparent its going to end sometime in the near future if not next year even depending on where aka takes it.
Also keep in mind the issue is that because theres so much to adapt, the possibility of a fully adaptation is less, its got a massive problem of it its source material ends there will be less incentive to adapt a future season even if it sells exceptionally, case and point the hell haruhi is trapped in cause the novels have been on hiatus forever. Its not a total death sentence but its all the more reason to hope the anime is longer than 1 cour to at least see it reach some of the higher points.

Of course theres always the possibility of another season, but thats never a guarantee even if its a top seller, and especailly since it seems like the manga could be ending in the relatively near future theres always that concern of them never funding a anime if theres no manga to advertise.
somehow they make Kaguya's voice a little bit better than the previous pv, only prez's voice that still doesn't match his character imo, the rest are fine, especially Hayasaka, they chose the most fitting voice for her.
also, they didn't add Iino to the list, so the anime will only be a one-cour show I guess
Even if it is 2 cour, Iino is pretty far like 70 chapters in. They can manage 3 chapters per episode so if it is 12 it will be 36 and if it's 24 then 72 and Iino will be there, probably towards the end of the series.
Best bet is if its a 2 cour, she could be like a teaser or something at the very end

I just don't know, i feel like the voices are not fitting the characters, even for the narrator ... Only Hayasaka's VA is matching. Very concerned about the adaptation.
I think, for me, other that Miyuki, it fits everyone perfectly.
I am more worried about how they will adapt it rather than the VAs, for me.
Mb i was too extreme saying they don't fit, i meant they could've been much better or much more fitting something like that. I feel like it might just ruin all the "immersion". Well at least the animation seems pretty good.

Honestly, it looks like a 1:1 adaptation, the only thing I am pretty concerned is hoping they do not rush or skip chapters, as most are connected to each other in the future chapters.
Some chapters "can" be skipped but more than that for example chapters 17-20 I think even "should" be skipped because I can't think the adaptation of it would be near the manga.
Another thing is if they want to make only 1 season even more chapters can be skipped because the future never comes to anime...
Also this PV was a lot better than previous

Ishigami appears much later in the series (around chapter 24), yet the PV shows a lot of shots of him. An ideal pace would be 2 chapters per episode, which means that Ishigami would appear near the end of the series (if it's one-cour). Though, they'll most likely skip and rearrange chapters and adapt whatever chapters they find fitting (something like Nozaki-kun). Most chapters are standalone, so this shouldn't be an issue.
Also, hopefully this series isn't too reliant on close-ups as this PV suggests.
