Mixed thoughts so far.

The cast looks pretty solid.
- I can dig Kensho Ono as Seiji
- Manami Numakura as Akane will probably be good. I immediately thought of her monotone voices and was meh about it, but I see she has some good, somewhat similar roles under her belt
- Yumi Hara will be fucking godly as Shikimi. I always imagined Shikimi with a higher pitched voice (like a sexual yandere version of Satania in Gabriel Drop Out), but I'm totally on board with Yumi Hara. Almaria, Kodaira, Alebdo, Yuuko, and Lilith. Enough said.
- I don't haven't seen Yoshino Aoyama's roles so idk about her as Guri
- Girl voicing Yuzu is completely new, so we'll have to wait and see. I thought Ookubo Rumi would've been a good fit.

The staff has me a bit worried. Nobody really worth mentioning on board there.

Can't say I'm a big fan of the character designs. It looks like they really blanded them down and "generified" them. Seiji especially. He looks like a daytime Nickelodeon character. He looks as bland as wet flower. His hair has like no detail to it. Also, while the character designs are bland, their eyes look weird as shit. Like an extreme amount of detail in the eyes, and then they made them a bright glossy neon which doesn't compliment the looks at all. The eyes don't look bad, in fact they'd look good on something with some big budget and detailed looking characters...but they just look out of place here. Hopefully they tone it down a bit when they have to animate.

I find it even more odd because in the teaser poster they released a while back simply stating that Renai Boukun was airing in "spring", it was a picture of Guri and was damn near close to what the manga looks like. Now the key visual doesn't really look anything like that art. Fucking Clockwork Planet did the same thing.

The cast looks okay but the staff gives me mixed thoughts. Hopefully a PV shows a better impression soon.

Oh yes! I can't wait to see this. I love the manga so much and I'm glad it's airing next season. Hopefully the cast and staff do a good job on this.

The director doesn't really have much to say since he directed a pretty dumb af short, but the rest of the staff kinda solds me. Not to mention at least it won't to the "Pretentiousness" route compared to Death Note (mainly because from what I was told this is a comedy... which is far better in that regard)

This has nothing to do with Death Note. They used as comedy on the first chapter and never used it again.

Hmm well I haven't read the manga but just assuming that one aspect. xD But just saying ^^U so I didn't knew they won't use that again though.
