Project Itoh Movie 'Gyakusatsu Kikan' Rescheduled for Winter 2017
A promotional video for Gyakusatsu Kikan (Genocidal Organ), which was aired on Friday during the broadcast of Koutetsujou no Kabaneri, has revealed that the movie will open in theaters this coming winter.
Gyakusatsu Kikan, an adaptation of the science fiction novel by Keikaku Itou, was originally scheduled to open in theaters in November 2015, but production was stopped in the final stages following the bankruptcy of animation studio Manglobe. Former Fuji Television producer Kouji Yamamoto then founded Geno Studio to complete the movie's production with the same staff.
The movie is one of three adaptations of Itou's science fiction novels. The other two movies, Shisha no Teikoku (The Empire of Corpses) by Wit Studio and Harmony by Studio 4°C, opened in theaters in October and November 2015, respectively.

good visuals are not everything
how it does not suck, but the other movies got bad reputation, so my hopes are low

It's a somewhat difficult book to adapt, since a lot of the ideas in it are very heavy and philosophical. It's basically the prequel to Harmony, so if you liked that movie you should definitely see this one.

From the project movies this is the one I'm longing to see the most yet have to wait half year from now. *sigh* 'til then, I'll cope with my impatience somehow.
Like the whole atmosphere the PV presents btw.

The PV looks good.. looking forward to watching the movie. Although, I haven't seen their other two movies yet. I was hoping Empire of Corpses would be in theatres around the area but sadly , nupe. So.. I haven't had the chance to watch either of them. x;

The PV looks really amazing. I have a question though - will the studio only be used to complete the film or will they start producing more works with the Mangalobe staff?
