Project Itoh Premiere Dates and 'Shisha no Teikoku' Cast Announced [Update 7/23]

The premiere dates and theme songs featured in the upcoming Project Itoh movies, as well as the cast for Shisha no Teikoku, were announced via its official site. The other two movies, Gyakusatsu Kikan and Harmony, will have their cast announced on July 24 and 31.

Shisha no Teikoku, which was originally slated for a December release, will premiere on October 2 in theaters across Japan, while Gyakusatsu Kikan will premiere on November 13 and Harmony on December 4.

EGOIST's Door, Reloaded, and Ghost of a smile will be the theme songs of the first, second, and third movies, respectively.

Alexei Karamazov: Shinichiro Miki (Mobile Suit Gundam 00)
Frederick Barnaby: Taiten Kusunoki (New Prince of Tennis)
Friday (Noble_Savage_007): Ayumu Murase (Haikyuu!!)
Hadary Lilith: Kana Hanazawa (Durarara!!)
John H. Watson: Yoshimasa Hosoya (Chihayafuru)
M: Akio Ootsuka (Ghost in the Shell)
Nikolai Krasotkin: Daiki Yamashita (Yowamushi Pedal)

The movies are anime adaptations of Keikaku Itou's Gyakusatsu Kikan and Harmony novels, as well as his unfinished Shisha no Teikoku novel. Itou passed away at age 34 in 2009 due to cancer.

Having classical music play in the background made watching the trailer all the more enticing. I have high expectations from all three of the movies and cannot wait to watch every single one of them.

get a gay ass group to do the theme songs, get a bunch of overrated shitheads to voice the characters (Ootsuka excluded), and make the art look like generic shounen crap

Yay for EGOIST. The theme song in the PV doesn't sound really great to me but I hope the other two are great.
