Staff Members and Visual for 'GANTZ:O' Anime Film Announced

The combined 21st and 22nd issue of Shueisha's Young Jump Magazine has revealed the main staff members and a visual for the upcoming full 3DCG anime film, GANTZ:O. The film will premiere on October 14, 2016.

The anime is based on Hiroya Oku's Gantz manga, which was published in the magazine from July 13, 2000 to June 20, 2013 with 37 compiled volumes. It received a split-cours TV anime adaptation by Gonzo. The first season aired from April 13, 2004 to June 22, 2004, while the second season aired from August 26, 2004 to November 18, 2004.

My friend in Japan worked on the graphics in this movie. She had a big post about it in Facebook. I knew she was in graphic design and she makes wicked paintings but to work on a movie! Shout out to Ayami! Well done Ayami! :) I remember when her mum made some awesome takoyaki when I visited. Was tasty.

This actually looks a lot better than I had expected. Also hoping for another season or remake TV series in the future..

Really excited about this now, the realistic/game type CG is much smoother and looks pretty awesome, so action scenes should look awesome.

This looks nice. I am sure people will complain about "this not being 2D" anyway because its one of ongoing memes alongside hating on dubs.

im not worried about the quality of the visuals considering this will have a movie budget and seeing Digital Frontier also have done the Tekken Blood Vengeance movie im sure this will be action packed as well
