 The combined 21st and 22nd issue of Shueisha's Young Jump Magazine has revealed the main staff members and a visual for the upcoming full 3DCG anime film, GANTZ:O. The film will premiere on October 14, 2016.The anime is based on Hiroya Oku's Gantz manga, which was published in the magazine from July 13, 2000 to June 20, 2013 with 37 compiled volumes. It received a split-cours TV anime adaptation by Gonzo. The first season aired from April 13, 2004 to June 22, 2004, while the second season aired from August 26, 2004 to November 18, 2004. | Not sure how well 3DCG will work for Gantz. The movie budget mechs should be nice. Osaka arc is pretty fucked. Hope they don't cut the Kuwabara action. |
