I love Nanatsu no taizai glad to see it's number one :D

Just a NnT fanboy cheering for my manga

Also good to see Durarara and Monogatari in the top. Decent LNs can still do well apparently

zero LN is doing well. JC staff needs to animate it again

Why are you doubtful?

I just dont see it happening

I see it reaching 6 or 7 mill max by the end of the year. Its only at 2 mill last year.

Bones has made some flops in the recent years. I think ppl are valuing the 5 pm timeslot too much

KONOSUBA DOMINATION!!!!!!!!!!

When does Boku no Hero Academia's anime come out? We should expect a NnT-esque boost for it.

Just 3 more weeks. :3
Hopefully Bones will deliver.

The top 2 manga makes me happy :)

Konosuba is getting an impressive boost!

Not bad, it could be better, but not bad

I really love how KonoSuba brings every volume to the top with it on every sales. Here's hoping for season 2.

So, what makes Kono Suba so different from the -yet again- other 35871349174 light novels which feature 'going into a game world' or, 'being transported to another world'?

It doesn't take itself seriously. It's a pure comedy show that doesn't try to be pretentious or edgy. In many ways it's a parody of the genre. Much more interesting than generic Grimgar, DanMachi and 100's of other light novel adaptations.

Also the MC, Kazuma, is not annoying like most other light novel MC's. The characterization for the series is actually quite strong.

Overlord still selling XD

Mar 11, 2016 8:33 AM by ichii_1

Last month grimgar had 50k this month 80k(series total)
130k (all anime boost)
before the anime volume 1 had less than 10k total (using kuuderes calculation we can assume it has around 35k atm)
The series in total probably had less than 50k total sales before the anime, by the end of the anime with volume 8 coming out and stuff, i think it will probably break the 300k bar or get pretty close to it.

From 30-50k before anime to 250-300k its a big boost in popularity

Overlap's first anime is a success no doubt.

there is really no need to talk about konosuba.

Mangawise
Handa-kun is pretty impressive
Platinium Ends is all about name recognition at least atm

So the average person on earth has written 5 isekai light novels now? Wow.

To answer your stupid question:
- a) there aren't anywhere near that many and never will be
- b) literally the only thing such series all have in common with one another is the things you included within your quotes.

But of course you already knew both those things already, right?
I guess you've never seen hyperbole's or sarcasm before, have you?

4 52,491 Monogatari series
5 52,118 Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut
6 39,026 No Game No Life
7 34,656 Zero no Tsukaima
8 33,915 Zettai Naru Isolator
9 33,068 KonoSuba Spinoff
10 32,464 Sword Art Online
11 31,955 Heavy Object
12 31,498 Overlord
13 28,767 Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou
14 25,961 Durarara!! SH
15 23,599 Rinshou Hanzai Gakusha Himura Hideo no Suiri
16 21,054 Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance
18 20,196 Prince of Stride
19 19,866 Kokuhaku Yoko Renshuu
20 19,611 Bokyaku Tantei (Okitegami Kyouko)
This makes Grimgal's sales look much nicer, not showing up in the rankings much but still racking in quite a few sales, good stuff.
It's funny how the anime seems to have been made to advertise the songs in it more than the actual novel but the songs seem to be flopping and the novels and anime's sales aren't looking up to be that poor.

Well in the end most fans are look for source material and BD/DVD.
Also separate OP/ED to different CD and yet release both CDs at same day(even though OP/ED both are by same band)? i think that was a mistake.

Ahiru no Sora
it would be nice to see this animated! long shounen sports anime!
I've read the manga but dropped it cause I can't be excited over a sports manga xD
it would be great as anime and the sales are good!!

Platinum End
in my plan!
it seems that it will get animated after 3-4 years of serialization xD

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic
I hope to see S3 for it since the manga is in it's final arc and the plot is still interesting

Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare
Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai
Harumatsu Bokura

so many shoujo manga in top 20 and I hope to see one of them animated soon!
Kurosaki got a live-action but it's so bad that's why it's better to see it as anime soon ><

Platinum end looks like Reverse from bakuman... interesting
