Adapts manga ending? Nobody tells me about this ;_;

I hope by manga ending it's not Erased adaptation's kind of ending.

Well, on one hand, it's good that it's 25 episodes instead of 22.
On the other hand, I get the feeling that they should have had a movie to wrap everything up. 47 Episodes and Movie feels about right. And I get the same vibe I did with Dangan Ronpa. Sure there's enough episodes, but is the individual episode long enough to adapt the source without too much trouble?

Hopefully It won't be rushed then.

I'm about to watch the season 2 and I'm expecting great for the ending since the series is great.

This caught me so off guard, knowing that AssClass is coming to an end! I can't wait for the author's next manga, I like the mangaka's style, but his writing is a hit or miss for me, in both Neuro and AssClass' case.

I'm worried about the manga, I'm caught up, and wondering if the ending will have impact on readers or be forgotten.

I hope they will let us know what manga chapters aren't going to be adapted, so that the fans of the show can read them before seeing the ending in the anime.

There is nothing surprising about this news to be honest.

It baffles me that some users strongly believed that after this season they were going to get another season, even more after the announcement of the manga coming to an end this March..... Reality check: once a manga ends then the possibilities of that manga getting more seasons are usually close to zero (yes, it can happen. It happened to Working!! and few other ones, but those are rare cases).

The publisher isn’t going to waste more of their resources into making another season of a shounen series that had its manga already ended....... Publisher train of thought: better use that money to promote other (newer) shounen series instead.

At this point, they had 3 options:
1.. Ended it with an anime original ending.
2.. Leave it open ended, or
3.. Put everything they can that’s in the manga into this season to try to end it with the original manga’s ending. Yes, this will lead to the omission/exclusion of some of the source material, but you still get to see the ending animated.

I read the manga, plus I’m not a source purist like some users in this site, so I’m alright with them going with the 3rd option.
Yes, they will have to exclude and rush thru some things now (they were already doing that anyhow), but as long as the series as a whole feels ok, then I’m fine with it.

No no... this lacks logic if anything...

Thinking on the profit side of things, it makes a lot more sense to adapt the manga into the anime realistically and leave it with an open end. That way it will make views want to go out and buy volumes of the manga to read.

Hmm, interesting. I personally haven't really kept up with the show, but I have been with the English releases of the manga. I may just wait for all the manga to be released and then watch it.

Now can they do re-make of Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro that actually follows the manga? It's not fair that it never got a full anime adaption :(

As someone who literally just finished Neuro, YES! The anime stopped like a fraction of the way through, before things even got really interesting! I'm hoping that Classroom's popularity sparks interest in a Neuro reboot.

Well that's pretty rubbish. There would be enough content for a single cour third season if they didn't try to skip so much. Pretty much everything from the Reaper arc onwards is really important for the story and character developement with not many fillers, so we will be missing some important stuff now that they are rushing it :/.

I hope they don't rush it.

I hope they don't skip any of my favorite parts. I'm fine with them skipping the Valentine's arc but they'll have to skip much more than that.

Y'know the funny thing about this?

I got spoiled, when i clicked spoiler buttons ;_;

eeh that's totally unexpected, well maybe it's for the best cause I don't really think this will got a 3rd season, heck I'm actually kinda surprised this got a second season considering how poor the BD sales of the first season

Feb 21, 2016 5:44 PM by ccdewa

What? Man, we're probably going to get some serious cuts now. I'm going to continue reading the manga anyway but still.

They're gonna skip some arcs. At least we see its ending!

Sounds OK to me

S2 hasn't been that engaging so far (though still better than S1)
