'Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid' to Premiere Fall 2015

The official website for TV anime Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid announced additional cast members and their respective roles today. The anime was also given a broadcast date of Fall 2015 and a new visual was released.

Lady J: Azumi Asakura (Highschool DxD)
Rein Hasumi: Saori Ounishi (Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata)
Torino Kazami: Kikuko Inoue (Aa! Megami-sama!)

Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid is a TV anime series part of the Valkyrie Drive multimedia project announced at AnimeJapan 2015. The other two titles, Bhikkhuni and Siren, are games planned for the PS Vita and smartphone respectively.

The main cast and staff members were given in the original announcement. Designs for three previously reported characters were also posted on the official site.

Anyone who's going to complain about how "stupid" and "poorly written" this is will be missing the point. It's an ecchi anime, it would be bad if it TRIED to take itself seriously and be "intelligent and deep" because that would be pretentious. If you like the lewd yuri, then that means it did its job.

What this anime has:
- Sexy girls
- Yuri
- Lewd fanservice
- Swords and other big fucking weapons
- From the PV: Well choreographed fights
- From the PV: Great OST
- From the PV: Great art, especially impressive for a genre that typically gives no fucks and has no budget

What this anime lacks:
- Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

This anime is every man's dream. It has everything a man could love. If they actually put as much effort into it as it appears, this might actually do really fucking well despite the negative MAL hate.

This series can only be good. This has been my most anticipated show since it was announced and that hasn't changed. I look forward to the hate this show will no doubt receive.
