Ecchi Manga 'Sekirei' to End

A scan from the 17th volume of Sekirei, releasing on March 25, reveals that the ecchi harem series will complete at 18 volumes.

Created by Sakurako Gokurakuin, the manga began serialization in seinen magazine Young Gangan in June 2005. Volume 16 was published in June 2014 and ranked #15 on Oricon's weekly manga chart.

In Summer 2008, the manga was adapted to a 12-episode TV series. A second season, titled Sekirei: Pure Engagement, followed in Summer 2010.

I wish it didn't have to end at all!! it will be missed, i had kinda hoped a third season would be made before it finished but as long as the story has a proper ending I'm happy.

it was a good ecchi and especialy a good harem. what they did with ku-chan was realy funny and it had a very good story in it. im happy :)

I really like Sekirei. I really hope that Minato will succeed the same thing that Tenchi Masaki,Seina Yamada,and Musashi Sakaki from Koihime did as Minato will end up marry his entire harem including Musubi. And for the bonus thing, Minato will be allowed to make love to them as Musubi and the others really,really wanted him to out of their own free will. Thus Minato having children with each girl and giving the girls the last name such as "Sahashi".

Actually watched the anime a couple months ago. Was hoping there would eventually be a third season.

It'd be nice if a final season announcement came on the heels of the last chapter's release.

I never thought that this day would come.
People are expressing sadness over its ending. But i had thought that it was on a permanent hiatus.
Well unlike some franchises like HOTD here the mangaka's care for the readers.

The second season sold well, but after 5 years I wonder if they'd still bother. It would probably sell like crap since they waited so long.
