I hope it's good

School and SoL aren't really my favorite, but since I have this on my "Plan to read"-list, it will be a "Plan to watch" as well :)

Lol welp, all I can say is allelujah for being able to find this unique manga. Double allelujah for an anime adaption of this as well. Before chancing upon this, I couldn't really find mangas to read that piqued my interest a lot like Iris Zero did, while waiting for the next chapter of that manga(feels like eternity). I just hope the adaption won't be less than 23 mins each episode though.

I am tactfully fucking hyped.

Oh hopefully the adaptation will be done right
finished reading the manga 2 days ago and now i'm really excited for this. Same for the next chapters of the manga.
if you don't know what Gakkou Gurashi! Is about I really recommend you to read the manga, quite the surprise for me :D

After reading through the parts of the manga that are out, I can say it's not my cup of tea, but I find myself interested for some reason...

Will watch when it comes out to see how it goes.
Kind of the same boat im on, I think the horror moments are actually quite intriguing but the slice of life simply doesnt work and at times feels annoying. It ended up hitting the biggest death sentence a survival manga can hit for me, which is when i cant care for the characters ultimately ruining the suspense. cause when i dont care if they survive or dont then the entire point of a survival manga has its purpose defeated

anyway, looks like another otaku pandering show disguised as an action show... black bullet... gokukoku... mahouka

Err. Every anime aired on late night time slot is literally aimed at otaku, and heavily dependent on otaku. I mean let's face it, casual people wouldn't even care nor support these stuff financially. Only otaku would. Claiming one particular title for being "otaku-pandering" does actually sound ludicruous. Also, knowing your gender, fujoshi is essentially "otaku" as well y'know?

Aside from that, i'm not remotely interested with this Gurashi thing so i'll go away.

This will be one of the greatest adaptation ever. None of you will know what to expect. Most of you will cry out with mindfuck just on the first episode, I guarantee.
No it wont

Alright, I'll fix it.
This will be one of the greatest adaptation of it's season.

Seriously, why does actual good zombie manga like I Am A Hero not get adapted, but stupid moe pandering shit like this does?

I guess that's how the industry works, gotta appeal to those neckbeard otakus.
Because moe is a made up scapegoat term for times like this, the fact that people woudlnt give a shit if this wasnt by some vague definition "moe" is proof enough of the term is a faux reality.

After checking out the genre, I say, "Never judge a book by its cover."

Seriously, people need to stop saying, "It sounds shit so I am not watching it." Like you are gonna do a favor if you witness it by your almighty eyes. Keeping quite is a golden virtue.

People kept saying this about Mahouka
"don't judge by cover, it totally is great"
It did not change the fact that it was trash.

Its almost like people have different opinions.

It was certainly quite the surprise to see this getting an anime adaptation so soon after I happened to catch wind of its existence from another user's offhand mentioning of it. I've only read a few chapters so as not to spoil myself too much, but this is certainly going to be quite the treat for those of us willing and able to not judge things based on superficial qualities.

Gotta love all of the Manga Time Kirara series getting adapted recently too.

Off topic: Threads like this are a perfect example of why I love this MAL userscript as it automatically makes posts from those particular users that like to blabber about shows they know nothing about don't like go bye-bye.

Thanks, i've been looking for that for a while.

Well, people are not always right, but you won't know unless you try.
