VIZ Media To Release Detroit Metal City Manga

VIZ Media announced the releases of new manga series in the second quarter of 2009. The ten titles and the release dates are as follows:

DOGS PRELUDE (already in stores)
Ikigami (May 12th)
Detroit Metal City (June 9th)
Gestalt (June 16th)
Honey Hunt (already in stores)
Rasetsu (June 2nd)
Tail of the Moon: The Other Hanzo (June 2nd)
Dinosaur Hour! (already in stores)
Leave It To Pet! (May 5th)
Pocket Adventures 2nd edition (June 2nd)

VIZ Media also announced the release of Asada Jiro's novel "THE STATIONMASTER (Poppoya)". The novel won the 117th Naoki Prize. Its manga adaptation "Poppoya Love Letter" was published in Afternoon magazine in 1999.

wow detroit metal city!!!!! dmc is the shit i love the anime!! i wonder why no one has picked up Ippo yet. i mean i would think that DMC would be harder to trans then Ippo. i hope Dark Horse picks it up. it's a great series.

I specifically remember at least half of this stuff getting announced (at least on other sites) but I believe some of it is new.

I, at least, didn't know we were getting a reissue of the AWESOME Pokemon Adventure manga~ at a $7.99 msrp, no less! I really hope this is unflipped. And with Blue and Green having the right names, because I am confused easily. And past where it got released the first time. (They're advertising it as "the very fist Pokemon saga" though? Are they aware Pokemon was a game first? I do recall the game's creator saying that this manga was the best animanga version of what he had in mind, but still...)
