New Gundam Series RX-78-7 Is a Game not Anime

According to Famitsu magazine, the new Gundam series featuring RX-78-7 is a Playstation 3 game. The title is "Kidou Senshi Gundam Senki (Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record U.C. 0081)".
The new series was announced last month but the type of the series had been unknown.

Bandai stated that new TV series of Gundam will not be aired this year.

somehow i don't find this surprising. but very odd. can't believe nothing real big is going to be produced, but at the same time, i cant really see another gundam coming out right after 00 finishes up

The game looks great!! I guess the new Gundam anime series won't be airing for quite awhile.
