Nitro+'s Game Phantom To Be a TV Anime

According to NewType magazine, a new TV anime based on Nitro+'s game "Phantom -PHANTOM OF INFERNO-" will be a TV anime titled "Phantom ～Requiem for the Phantom～". It's already adapted to an OVA series "Phantom - The Animation". The staff are as follows:

Director: Mashimo Kouichi ("Madlax", "Blade of the Immortal")
Series organizer: Kuroda Yousuke ("Mobile Suit Gundam 00")
Character designers: Yamashita Yoshimitsu ("Blade of the Immortal"), Sasaki Mitsumi, Kikuchi Yoko ("Junjo Romantica")
Production company: Bee Train

Huh, I'll check it out I guess. The OVA wasn't that bad in my opinion, hopefully the anime doesn't ruin it. It was a story that I think was done well in around 3 episodes.

Phantom of Inferno, I had always wanted to try out the game, but never had the chance to do so. It appears that the ova adaption of the game doesn't have the same storyline.

The game was mainly about a teenager witnessing the murder of a reporter and ended up held captive as hostage, as well as his plans of escape.

The ova is about some guy witnessing a sniper assasination and that the sniper is a young girl who made him to join her in the quest of becoming a sniper and escaping such a fate after becoming one.

I wonder how will the anime series adaption turn out to be...

Cool. I bought the OVA DVD today, I will get the game more or less soon, and now this. But I do not like the production company, most of Bee Train's things turn out quite ... bad. Well, hope is the last one to die! =)

Hm-m, this could be interesting. Never saw the OVA though and never heard of the whole series, but I hope it looks better than the OVA. I guess it won't be Zero Requiem, that's for sure. Since it's from Nitro+, it might turn into a nice dark anime, like Blassreiter and Chaos;head.
