Ah crap, I'm reading Video Girl Ai. >_<

So what exactly are we dealing with? I never heard of Diamond really... and I have to go online to buy my manga anyways because my book stores don't provide much so does is affect me still?

I don't think this event immediately affects most of you. The point of this news is one of the major comic suppliers considered that those Japanese manga no longer make money. The shrinkage of the manga market is getting more and more substantial.

Interesting that it's only viz media manga rather than just allot manga titles from different publishers. I wonder why?

So, what will happen to those manga titles?

I collect Prince of Tennis and Yami No Matsuei.

I can understand why old titles are being removed,
but ION and Wanted are pretty much new. Furthermore, they are very easy to sale.
For example: Arina Tanemora is popular in my country, so selling ION to those who've read Full Moon or Gentlemen's Alliance is very easy.

I'm also shocked to see Shakugan no Shana Novels on that list.
Why remove the original novel instead of the manga adaptation @_@

Whoa. I haven't really read any manga, but I can tell this is going to cause a bit of trouble for people.

Diamond is seriously f*cking up my manga collection. I'm waiting for ages for the next volume of Forget About Love & Nosatsu Junkie. ><

The only thing that really effects me is Excel saga since ive been trying to hunt down a copy all across western BC >:P

Guessing that this is due to the same thing that keeps people away from HnI - shelf space. They can get a lot more free space for new titles by not carrying all volumes of all redundant shonen works.

Seeing Banana Fish on that list takes me back, though. I haven't yet seen it being sold outside of chapters in Animerica Extra, back in the day.
