Toradora! light novel series to end in March.
The award-winning Toradora! light novel series is set to end with the 10th volume (to be released in March). Many fans satisfied with the decision to end the series instead of dragging it out. There is still an expectation for the continuation of the spin-off works.
Toradora! (とらドラ!) follows the story of Takasu Ryuuji, a kind person given a mean look, and Aisaka Taiga, a mean person given an angelic look. There is currently an anime adaptation (produced by J.C. Staff) airing as well as a manga adaptation, publishing. The anime adaptation is set to end in March as well with 25 episodes.

That's pretty cool that their bringing it to a close before it gets played out. Maybe I can get my ass motivated to continue learning Japanese and actually purchase some of these novels.

Oho, big news. Doesn't matter how it will end, but I'm glad to hear fans are happy with it. The anime really could keep up when the last episode airs.

Well, if novel is as mediocre and cliche as anime then the faster the better...

o, so the anime will have a conclusive, canon ending then?
I doubt that because they've already made the ending episode and they can't create a canon ending without any source material. But I wonder... how many volumes has the anime series covered so far? Can someone answer that question for me (>_<)?o, so the anime will have a conclusive, canon ending then?
They've covered 6 volumes completely, and are on the 7th right now
There's also a chance that they worked w/ the author directly so the anime might have an ending more in line w/ the novel ending

The ending will be canon, there's been a collaboration between the anime producers and the author. There will probably be slight deviations, but the general outline should be the same.
And the anime is covering material up to volume 7 so far.
