Daichi Akitaro's New Anime Yume wo Kanaeru Zou Announced

According to Daily Sports Online, Daichi Akitaro's new TV anime "Yume wo Kanaeru Zou (An elephant which grants a dream)" was announced to be aired from January 13th, 2009. An idol actor Kusanagi Tsuyoshi will play the main role.

"Yume wo Kanaeru Zou" is originally a self-help book for workers. It's about an ordinary office worker Fumiyama Fumio, who gains self-confidence by the advices of an Indian god "Ganesha".

It does sound interesting so I'll give it a try.

And yes, MegaTen fans should recognize Ganesha as one of the many 'demons' and 'persona' you face in the games.

Ganesha.. I managed to get a Ganesha with Tetrakarn in Persona 4. There is actually an anime on the elephant deity?!

Ganesha is indian god with elephant head and a man's body. He can place and remove obstacles on the human's life path.

the liveaction Yume wo Kanaeru Zou just finished airing, Oguri Shun plays Nogami Kohei. i'm gonna watch the jdrama first...
