Fairy Tail TV Anime To End on March 30

According to Televi Magazine, the TV anime of Fairy Tail was announced to end on March 30th. Tanken Driland will be moved to the Saturday morning time slot.

I never really cared for this specific announcement, but some users in this thread suprise me:
Come guys, it was obvious. Bleach will pull the same in the near future. You don't let cashcows die, simple as that.

I'm still waiting for Rave remake by a good studio .__. But I'm still okay with it if they redeem Fairy Tail with upgraded animation and stays close to the manga (no filler).

Agree about ANN's news. For this particular news, it got it from Manganews which seems to base on a scan of a magazine. I would do more checking around to confirm if there are any more details before making any decision about starting any news thread about it.

Hasn't it already been established that Mashima's a troll? I mean, just look at all the pairing teasing he does and all the "LOL NOPE NOT DEAD" stuff. It's clear he derives amusement from this sort of thing, hahaha.

At least the man is one hell of a dedicated artist. As an illustrator I must say SERIOUS hats off to the man for getting 3 chapters out per week for two weeks in a row.
