Kanon 2006 Licensed by ADV

David Williams of ADV Films has confirmed that they have indeed licensed Visual Art's/Key and Kyoto Animation's Kanon 2006 at Anime Weekend Atlanta yesterday. ADV also has the license for Air, which was also done by the same Japanese companies.

Too late. I'm too lazy to try and watch Kanon now. I'll wait for the DVD's. Besides, I want to see which character Hillary Haag will play!

Nayuki and Ayu don't sound right in that dub... :/

I'll be satisfied if they keep those sounds in place and if they do a decent job with Sayuri's laugh. Speaking of which, I really need to open that Air dvd I have and check out the english dub. It's still sealed after all this time XD

Heh...I hope they keep all the unique sounds the girls in Kanon had...But, I do wonder how they will do the Ayu's lines though...

What could they possibly replace "Uguu~" with? The only thing I'm worried about is that whole watashi/boku thing with Ayu. Of course, they could just make all of Ayu's lines sound childish, then Yuuichi can comment on how she always sounds like a child and should speak in a more mature manner.
