A few people are chiming in from when they saw a bit of Kanon at Anime Weekend Atlanta last night and have provided some small nuggets of info. The series is being tentatively planned for a January release (a month after the Air movie) and is being scheduled as a monthly release. When queried about the voice actors for characters who made cameos in Air, the infamous "I can neither confirm nor deny" statement reared its head.

Let's hope for a monthly release.

It will be a monthly release. I can say that with absolute certainty.

Hrm. I still need to finish up the last two episodes and the prelude... Does it get any sadder? `_`

Too late. I'm too lazy to try and watch Kanon now. I'll wait for the DVD's. Besides, I want to see which character Hillary Haag will play!

Ergh. I need to go home and work some more at my job since I'm just a poor college student at the moment and I can't afford to buy anything. >.<

I'll be satisfied if they keep those sounds in place and if they do a decent job with Sayuri's laugh. Speaking of which, I really need to open that Ait dvd I have and check out the english dub. It's still sealed after all this time XD

Nayuki and Ayu don't sound right in that dub... :/

Yes! Hopefully I'll be able to get the whole series when I earn enough money for mystelf. >.>

Heh...I hope they keep all the unique sounds the girls in Kanon had...But, I do wonder how they will do the Ayu's lines though...

Sep 22, 2007 10:41 AM by MLopes724

What could they possibly replace "Uguu~" with? The only thing I'm worried about is that whole watashi/boku thing with Ayu. Of course, they could just make all of Ayu's lines sound childish, then Yuuichi can comment on how she always sounds like a child and should speak in a more mature manner.

Yes! With this DVD, I'll be able to turn more people into anime fans!
