Right Stuf's Nozomi Entertainment Licenses Maria-sama Ga Miteru

Nozomi Entertainment has announced the license to the anime series Maria-sama Ga Miteru. The license includes the first two television seasons and the third season OVA. In addition, the Maria-sama Ni Wa Naisho DVD specials will also be included. Each season will be released in sub only DVD box sets starting in the summer of 2008.

Probably a word of advice for the preordering, Rightstuf can split an order for shipping. However, when I preordered the Slayers Next and Try and other dvds I had to wait until Try to get the rest of my order that wasn't ready during the initial shipping. If you wanted to ship them immediately instead of waiting then you'll have to pay a little extra for the next splits. (I had e-mailed them about why the other dvds weren't shipping and that's what they told me.) I'd advise ordering the boxsets separately or if you are trying to get the free shipping to order other stuff that will be available at the same time.

Either way, I can't wait. I got all 3 preordered and ready to come. Hopefully we'll get them all by the end of the year November.

I have Emma already pre-ordered. If I was working right now, I'd pre-order these too. As for now they will have to wait, but they are on my to buy list. I'm really down with these sub only box sets. I kind of wish Media Blasters had just released a box of Simoun like this instead of separate disks.

Preorder for all 3 seasons done.

Nozomi/Rightstuf is really gaining my respect. First Emma, now Marimite. In relatively cheap sub only box sets; just the way I'd want it. I swear if they pick up Aria next, I will fly to Iowa and genuflect in front of their building. Or maybe I'll just send them a letter. Regardless, they'll win me as a consumer forever.

Right Stuf is really out to take my money this year. First Emma season box sets and now Marimite. Toss in their frequent studio sales and I might as well start direct depositing paychecks to them.

Yay!!!! Not only a license for something I want, but for one of my favorite series. I am so preordering this the second it goes up. Rightstuf, I owe you my firstborn child yet again.

Which reminds me, I still haven't finished watching season three! ^_^; I'll probably do that now anyway, since I know I'll be buying everything either way.

Edit: Oh, preorders are already up! I knew I was saving my babysitting money for a good reason.

I find this to be an interesting acquisition. Didn't think they would take all three. The price is pretty good and I like how they are distibuting the whole season.
