Guess it's no surprise Code Geass R2 got the most sales this month, but they really did beat the rest hard .. ^^

Shintaiju is a service for a company not for private use.
Among this autumn anime series. Blu-ray Disc of these three titles will be released simultaneously with DVD.
"Toaru Majutsu no Index"
"Kemoko Deluxe"
"ef -the tale of melodies-"
So the DVD ranks and the numbers of copies sold will be inaccurate with these titles.

If I had a choice between a DVD at ¥6,000 and BD at ¥7,000 I know what I would choose. Seems a lot of people agree, at least on Geass, Macross and Gundam.

This is a much more interesting ranking than the TV one, keep up the good work dtshyk.

Oricon is running business by selling data, so only the ranks are provided for free. If I had money, I could have a ShinTaiju account...

I also wanna know the BD sales numbers but the data available so far are only these:
Macross Frontier first week's sale
DVD vol.1 17,548
BD vol.1 22,000
The BD numbers are provided by Oricon Shin Taiju service, which requires $900 per month. I only have an account in YouTaiju ($10 per month).

I'm interested to know how Macross Frontier's blu-ray sales were. While it's fairly certain DVD sales will be higher, it'd still be nice to know how BD is doing there. With the OSTs selling so well I wonder how combined DVD/BD sales are going, actually... o.O
