Sentai got hit by the moneytrain that they can afford to license something every week? It used to be 5-6 titles PER YEAR
Maybe Bandai's helping them get new titles? They did say their new focus was getting other companies to license stuff [/purespeculation]

Anyways, I love the artwork already and the OP's not too bad. I'll check it out now :)
Wait what? When did they ever say that?

It was in an interview they said something about being sub-licensers.

REALLY? Kure-nai is one of my favorite anime (I was just about to start rewatching it this weekend). I'm so glad and I really hope they don't fuck this up. If it's good, I would GLADLY purchase it.

I always recommend this series to anyone I can, since I don't think that many people know about it.

I was just looking at this Anime yesterday, but hadn't noticed this.

I'm not sure whether to watch, or not..

I don't see what's so great about Kure-nai. I tried finishing it, but couldn't bring myself to do so.

Sentai either won the lottery or they are up to their necks in debt.

So when am I going to get my unlicensed Gundam series subbed/dubbed?

Seriously its like every week they licence something new.

If I lived in the US, I would seriously consider buying this after the likes of Princess Tutu and Haibane Renmei (and also Fancy Lala if the license for that hasn't expired). Certainly one of the most enjoyable anime I have seen.

Unfortunately, I don't.

Kure-nai was one of the more compelling SoL's that I've seen. I'd love to hear it dubbed, but doesn't look like it'll get one.

Good action and heartwarming.
The manga is better, but this is definitely a great watch. The ending is extremely satisfying also.

I was hoping for a dub, for the play recital episode would have been hilarious.

Never heard of it...

Its more on the melancholic side than on the fun/comedy side like Inu x boku.
It has a decent story and is well executed. It ends kinda abruptly and probably why is so underrated.

hell yeah that's what i'm talkin about

Wow, that was a while, I really liked Kure-nai, shame it's not bluray, but I'll take what I can get. It does give hope to other gems I've liked over the past few years eventually getting licensed as well.
