TV Anime of Manga 'Thermae Romae' Confirmed

According to Comic Beam, manga "Thermae Romae" was announced to get a TV anime adaptation. It's a three-episode series and will be aired on Noitamina block from January 12th 2012 followed by Black★Rock Shooter. The production studio is DLE.

A live action movie of Thermae Romae will be premiered on April 28th 2012.

Story:
A historical comedy. Lucius is an architect of public baths in ancient Rome. He gains a power to time-travel to modern Japan through the baths and introduces the Japanese culture of bath to Rome.

It would be quite a surprise if noitaminA would air an anime that is ecchi. That said, I'm quite sure that this would be about history.

I think DLE is fitting enough, since all of their shorts seem to be comedy based. I enjoyed Double-J and Hyaoru! Nyaruani, to be honest, even though they were weird, but the comedy definitely doesn't appeal to everyone's tastes.

I think I'm going to like this but I'm afraid of the animation studio DLE.
They only produce anime-shorts and I don't like those shorts to be honest.
