Yuru Yuri's on two lists. One piece song that just changes 1 word from We are is the #1 song. The rest of that stuff was just too much of a pity to even discuss.
...What is this dumb dumb? The ONLY industry that actually grow in Japan was anime industry, nothing else.

Please, stop stating subjective opinions as if they were objective facts:

Anime DVD & Blu-ray Market in Japan Grows 20% Year-on-year
Oricon released the annual market report of the DVD and Blu-ray media in 2010. The total sales of anime DVD & Blu-ray in 2010 rose 20% from a year earlier.

Chart1: Anime DVD & Blu-ray Sales in Japan from 2008 - 2010

Chart 2: Breakdown chart of Blu-ray sales in Japan

Chart 3: Breakdown chart of DVD sales in Japan

The whole media sales in 2010 was 107.1 % compared to the previous year. The growth is attributed to the two-fold increase in the anime Blu-ray sales, which makes up 62.7% of the whole Blu-ray market.

I think the reason why Shirushi didn't sell as much as Endless Story is because it didn't air as an OP them

I assumed Tamura Yukari just sells more than Kitamura Eri. Still, CDs aren't so front-loaded... if it becomes popular later with more use, it'll sell over time. We just might not see in the rankings.

Not really, they're close to even.

You're right, it could sell overtime but still it's a risky move and it has a chance of not paying off in the future.

Nothing interesting. Only Totoro.

I think the reason why Shirushi didn't sell as much as Endless Story is because it didn't air as an OP theme, big mistake, how the hell you are going to buy a song that's not even possible to listen to beforehand in the anime, which is the other mistake, releasing it so early, it should have been like Treasure! done in 1 episode of the anime then have it up for sale afterwards, and if C3 is a 2 cour anime then the too early mistake will be really obvious.
