Nissan Motors Designs the Robots of New Anime 'Rinne no Lagrange'

At the live conference streamed on Bandai Channel, the mecha designs of new anime Rinne no Lagrange were revealed. Car manufacturer Nissan Motors has designed the robots.

Rinne no Lagrange will be aired from January 2012. Nakajima Megumi will sing both the OP and ED themes.

Story:
Kyono Madoka is a 17 year old girl, who loves her home town Kamogawa and likes to help people in trouble. She rides a robot called Vox in her jersey wear and fights against aliens.

lol, Nissan doesn't have anything better to do? I would have expected sleeker designs, but whatever... I like the vinyls better than the actual robots.

It's got class and looks like a Japanese car.

Megumi Nakajima fuck yeah.

The art there reminded me of Eureka 7 for a second, as well as one of the mechs. Actually..maybe it's just me..but a lot of the mechs resemble insects of sorts...

Won't judge until I see it, but I'll be watching~

Finally! I don't see many mecha anime with a leading female protagonist as the pilot so it's about time they're making some! The mecha doesn't look bad, though. :)

Meh. It doesn't sound at all interesting. The robot-thing's design is good, but the car's ugly.
