I can see why it's being split into two seasons. The animation in the PV was very high quality. I 'm glad it's going to be a full 24 episodes. Can't wait for it!

the first episode is out in cancer streaming quality but ye the animation is top notch so no wonder it has interval in between the 24 episodes to ensure that level of animation quality as you said

Hmm...I remember a thread here about P.I.G where was mentioned that Xebec sales are much better. It was an old thread though, maybe 1.5-2 years old. It was before Sengoku Basara and Kimi ni Todoke, at least.

Xebec is a subsidiary of I.G. So basically, it's the same company, it shouldn't really make any difference.

People get pretty twitchy at the mention of Xebec because they've produced a lot of low budget, not so well regarded shows in the past. I don't think they're all bad, personally, but I will admit I wouldn't have them in my list of top animation studios.

Production IG on the other hand is, whether justified or not, considered a fairly high quality studio with bigger budget shows. So even though Xebec is a subsidiary, there is a - or at least a strong perception of a - difference in production quality between the two, depending on which group is credited as animation production.

Yeah, and at the same time, shows animated by Xebec usually sell well, and those done by I.G. themselves, nearly always flop. :)

Sure there could be differences in production quality, but every Xebec show has I.G. behind it anyway. It's basicaly the same as with many AIC subsidiaries, like AIC ASTA, AIC Spirits etc - it's different teams with different staff, but still the same company.

the studio should have been I.G. also, that way i absolutely will watch it, but w/ Xebec, i don't know
this also feels like a continuation of I.G.-Xebec collaboration after Break Blade

Well, I can't read Japanese but that girl is cute.

Google Translate ftw, its not perfect but you can piece together what they are saying, at least for the text portions. Text on jpgs and such aren't translated.

Cute girl, happy-school-slice-of-life moeness, anyone?

An anime like this requires loli to be interesting like with Ro-Kyu-Bu especially since it's a sports anime and most likely seinen, it would be passable or good if it was for kids but this no. I'll also pass.

The art seems nice and the girl is cute, but except for that it's impossible to say anything about it yet.

Well... so far we know that this anime has a girl in it, and its about jerseys. What am I supposed to think...?
