VA Takiguchi Junpei Passes Away

According to Nihon TV news, seiyu Takiguchi Junpei passed away on August 29th due to stomach cancer. He was 80 years old.

Takiguchi had been working as a seiyu since the 1950s and was one of the magnates of the seiyu world. He was the first seiyu who dubbed a foreign drama on TV in Japan in 1956. He had played many roles in popular anime series such as Dragon Ball, Yatterman, and Lupin III.
