CoMix Wave's OVA 'Kono Danshi, Uchujin to Tatakaemasu.' Announced

According to Anime!Anime!, CoMix Wave has announced a new OVA "Kono Danshi, Uchujin to Tatakaemasu. (This boy can fight with aliens.)" It will be released at Animate shops on September 20th.

The director is a 21-year old rookie creator Yamamoto Sobi. She was inspired by Voices of a Distant Star when she was a junior high student and has created many independent short anime, one of which won the grand prize in the 8th Weekly Ascii Short Movie Contest.

Kakashi: Kimura Ryohei
Arikawa: Toyonaga Toshiyuki
Shiro: Hirakawa Daisuke

Synopsis:
A yaoi-tasted sci-fi anime. The "Sekai (World)" has been under attacks by aliens. One day, Arikawa, one of the staff of the provisional headquarter for the invading aliens, finds a high school boy Kakashi, who is lying on a hill with his memory lost. Kakashi is found to have a power to beat the aliens and starts living together with Arikawa and his boss Shiro. Kakashi gradually gets used to the strange life but the relationship among the three breaks up when Kakashi loses his motivation to fight with the aliens.

i looked on the site and it looks like konodan screened on the 10th of october and that info about september 23rd was just stating the start of the festival. so i changed it to 10/10. hopefully it's right now!

O_o I didn't notice it was almost a 3 weeks of festival! I thought it was 1 day or 1 weekend (Friday, Sept 23 was a Japanese holidays). Thank you for the update ^^

I'm soooo curious about the DVD extra now *o*

and the dvd is going to have english subtitles included, which is fantastic.

Still the first airing was on September 23rd in the in the Machi Asobi Festival in Tokushima, so it's not on 6th! pre-airing time (even for US pre-airing) is always on MAL so we should changed for Sept 23rd. I asked for it 1 week ago but the staff didn't change it for an unknow reason, that's why I also posted (#30) here to explain why I asked for a change! ^_^

I asked for a airing date change on 10th (but made a mistake first, asking for Sept 18th and not 23rd because of the website post date), we just have to wait! (post #30 ^ )
As for the lengh, when I add it we just know the lengh of the DVD, 45mn that's why! ^^ maybe good bonus! I will buy it on 18th, so I will know ^_^

Btw, usually OVA don't aired on TV... and the DVD is not out yet... how did people ripped it?

Shoujo, Yaoi, supernatural action with aliens

Pass what a trainwreck of fail, someone needs to just hire her as a director for a short 3 minute anime like Nyanpire or Morita-san, something decent to start her out.
