According to the official twitter of To Love-ru anime, the anime project of To Love-ru Darkness is "thought to be" a false information. Mainichi removed the sentence from the article.

@takaderu_07: I heard To Love-ru Darkness will get an anime adaptation. Is it true?
@toloveru_com: I've also heard of the information, but it looks like a false info. Oh, dear! What should I say. lol

According to Mainichi Digital News, an anime project of manga To LOVE-Ru Darkness has been underway. It's a spin-off of To LOVE-Ru featuring Golden Darkness and Momo.

If this does get an anime I hope madhouse or Feel (the one did kissxsis,yosuga no sora) does it instead of xebec, since there design can keep up with kentaro Yabuki outstanding art...

you know, i thought this was strange since the manga is only a few chapters thus far; well only five. an adaptation at this point would be too premature if not the kind that would be inconsistent with the current story line.

As long as the manga continues being great, I don't mind either way :P

Considering how few chapters there currently is of To Love-Ru Darkness, this may be for the best. Perhaps if we're lucky an adaptation will happen in the future after the story has progressed some more.
