The characters in Spy x Family are a lot similar to the characters in Kaguya sama. They also give off the same vibes, although Spy x Family seems to be a bit more serious than Kaguya sama. And I don't even need to point out Anya's similarity to Chika. Lloyd and Yoru also feels like Miyuki and Kaguya. I feel like this would be as fun and wholesome as Kaguya sama, but the story is from the opposite perspective. Also, like Kaguya sama, both the protagonists can't let the other know how they truly feel, but still, 5 chapters is a little too early to make a recommendation, but I do feel like it's going to turn out like this. read more

To the people who have read Spy x Family:-
Imagine this:- a rom-com about high school cold Yor,and high school less tired Twilight each try to make the other confess their love, almost every time high school oblivious Anya, comes and ruins their plans.
To those who have read Kaguya-sama:
Imagine this:- when they graduate Shirogane becomes even more tired ,for that he became a spy , while Shinomiya becomes a less Ice-Prince like assassin, and boom, they marry (even if it's fake tho) and adapt a 6-year old mind-reading Fujiwara. and so on they (kind of) work together to look like a real family while spy Shirogane tries to complete his mission. read more

Both are some of the best animanga series out there (in my opinion) and are extremely similar in countless ways. If you like one, you'll undoubtedly love the other, I promise.

Firstly, their casts are extremely similar in vibe and design. Twilight (Loid) is basically Shirogane as an overpowered perfectionist spy and Yor is basically the less cold, assassin version of Kaguya. Twilight is just as hard-working and tired as Shirogane and Yor is just as innocent and double-natured as her respective counterpart. Anya is basically Chika, but as a mind-reading child. Both serve as comedic relief and as foils for the two main characters. Heck, even Ishigami is also kind of similar to Yuri as well. 

Secondly, both are absolutely hilarious and very unique in concept. Both shows feature a main "couple" that can't absolutely reveal the truth (feelings/identity respectively) to their love-interest. Love is War focuses a bit more on comedy, while Spy x Family has a more dark tone to it. Both are really well-written in every aspect really and never miss with their comedy.

I could really go on all day, but, I think it becomes quite obvious once you see it for yourself. Overall, as Love is War is nearing to its end, Spy x Family really feels like its spiritual successor in both quality and concept, all while remaining incredibly unique. Both are must-reads (and/or must-watches, of course) in my opinion. read more

Very genius comedy, jokes always hit, kaguya sama is more funnier while spy x fam is more wholesome. Both have romance while Kaguya sama is the more "unique" one in that category, spy x family is what I prefer more when it comes to romance.

If you enjoy Spy x Family  I really think you would enjoy Sakamoto Days. In Sakamoto Days you follow Taro Sakamoto a renowned assassin and the best in his field. But all of this changes ones he falls head over heels for his wife, retires from his profession and runs a convenience store with her. But as these things tend to go, 10 years later his skill and expertise are once again needed, and he is pushed back into the criminal world against his will. Despite that he does not break his promise to his wife, which was one of their many marriage rules :" Do not kill.” 
Throughout the entire adventure,  little by little you learn about Sakamotos past life as a famous ex-assassin.

It is a hilarious and adventures story, that gets more and more serious and suspenseful/ exciting as time goes on, but never loses its light-hearted and funny charm!  Just like Spy x Familiy the manga has many fun interesting characters, plot lines and scenes. It is just a wonderful read and makes me always look forward for the next chapter.

I would highly recommend this manga to anyone!  Especially if you're in a reading/manga slump. It starts out fun and similar to a slice of life following a retired assassin in the first few chapters, but definitely becomes more intriguing and suspenseful as time goes on!

Both have a very interesting and funny family dynamic with characters trying to hide their identity. In sakamoto days that element is played down a bit but both have a fantastic balance of action and comedy. I feel like if you like one chances are you're also gonna like the other

Both centered around family and fighting. The comedy is similar, and the action involves most of the same things (gunfights, assassins, etc.). Both also involve a character who can read minds.

While Spy x Family tends to get a little deeper, Sakomoto Days is a lighter read.

Spy x Family is what you get when you take a wholesome slice-of-life comedy manga like Yotsuba& and turn it into a cold war spy action thriller. On paper, it should not work. But holy hell it does. And the most striking common feature of both series? THEY'RE HILARIOUS.

Both of these manga are hilarious scenarios where the MCs are hiding a lot about themselves
In Spy x Family, the MCs are a spy, an assassin, and a baby with ESP
In Oshi no Ko, the MC is an idol with a baby, and the babies can talk.

They are both lighthearted and very funny, I recommend both.

- They are both a wholesome family-centered manga
- They both have a cute young girl as one of the main characters, one who wants to help her parents, but is still a child with childish thoughts
- They both have a slightly inexperienced, slightly panicked father figure who is good at cooking
- They both have a nervous female character who may or may not have a crush on the father figure (with the exception that one of them is afraid of knives and the other is a secret assassin... and that one can cook great meals and the other can cook... accidental poison. Anyway.) read more

Mix of action and comedy with similar tone. In both manga, the main characters lead a double life, doing ordinary jobs and hiding their true identity (in Spy x family more than Gokusen) due to their connections with the underworld.
In Gokusen we have yakuza, Spy x family we have spies and assassins. 

In bothe the female leader is strong and very good at fighting. In both mang family thread is important, but presented slightly differently. In both manga takes place subtle but important romantic subplot.

These two stories have pretty similar elements.

The protagonists are cunning, manipulative yet sympathetic men who trust nobody but themselves to achieve their goals but who put on a charming facade to the world. Both their pasts were full of hardships that had greatly shaped them to be who they are now. 

Also, both Twilight and Kazunari get married/engaged only to further their respective purposes and they're constantly wary of getting too emotionally involved with their wives. Yet they always end up acting impulsively and letting their masks slip off because they actually care.

Like Anya, Kazunari can read minds. He had relied on this power to carry out his plans all his life but this ability is useless on his wife, so he has to learn to communicate with her in a more natural way. This happens to Twilight too, when his expert spy skills just aren't enough to understand his family. 

The wives, Yor and Nana, are earnest, kind and naive women who are keeping a secret from their husbands and both have overprotective younger brothers.

There's actually more similarities but overall both Spy x Family and Kimi no Koe are heartwarming stories about found families formed between characters who are outsiders to society and who have secrets they’re keeping from each other that could potentially tear them apart.

These two manga are both Shounen Jump masterpieces. In both genres and themes, these two manga are completely different, but they just feel similar in nearly every way. I believe this to be indicative of how much Tatsuya Endou (Author of Spy x Family) learned while he was working under Tatsuki Fujimoto (Author of Chainsaw Man).

Both mangas are very similar in various aspects, ranging from comedic to plot wise. Fukei-san to Ansatsu-san follows the story of an assassin and a police woman, both finding peculiar ways into each other's lives without really knowing who the other person is which is similar to Spy x Family, a story about a make belief family with an assassin and a spy who don't know each other's true occupations. They're both extremely wholesome and I recommend both!

I know it's a weird one, but the two mangas talk about families that are weirdly arranged, and, surprisingly, it works. Chapters are heart-wrenching, and sometimes mind-blowing or breathtaking, with an omnipresent danger hiding behind obvious comedic elements. And, of course, in "Rojica to Rakkasei" there is a chapter about a big peanut that miraculously came to life. Peanut stories are always worth reading.

Both of them tell the story of a cute and powerful kid who is adopted by a family that could be seen as dangerous, but actually is very loving and would do everything for her.
Both stories are a bit dramatic, but with a lot of funny and wholesome moments.

Instead of being a spy, the main heroine has to keep the fact that she is a vampire from the world. Both are hilarious manga surrounding characters with secret identities that lean more supernatural and the hijinks that ensue. Every character is lovable with their own unique quirks, the facial expressions in Jitsu Wa Watashi Wa are insanely diverse, just as terrifying and hilarious as the faces in Spy x Family, and there is a lot of heart at its core.

Both comedies are about a man with a questionable past, who must get accustomed to his now "boring" life as a husband. Of course, things rarely go his way and hilarity ensues. Don't expect too much from the stories, since both are fairly predictable. They're good for a laugh, though

Both these manga are short, easy to get into and very enjoyable

If you like your comedy manga then please read Grand Blue it's so hilarious you'll not regret it(otherwise you can always watch Gintama but it might take a while to get into it)

And if you're more into wholesome feel-good manga then spy x family is worth giving a shot
