As many people on this website already said, it is really a wonderful manga, entertaining, crafty, REAALLY sci-fi. Personally I was very pleased with the plot, villains, characters, and their development, and how everything is explained to every last detail, it took some hard work to produce this, and its showing! I'm recommending this to everyone who loves science and anime. I've really never read something like this, and I probably never will again.
I love how the personality of each character was really shown by their actions. and how unique they were.
It's still a sci-fi anime even if it's based on reality, some moments ... were really not ''real'', like some of their reactions and their bravery, I doubt that that many people are like this and that they would act that way. But it was really interesting.

Dr. Stone is a manga unlike any other. It has been successful in finally providing unity between science and fan. If you are a science this manga is for you; if you aren't, this manga is still for you. Its art is fantastic, A 10/10; The storyline is really gripping and it manages to maintain its zeal until the end. The character are goddamn amazing with each having a distinct personality and not the characters feel left behind; every character has his/her moment and this just shows the how brilliant the mangaka is. I seriously believe that is a must read for anyone and everyone. ...
STORY SNYOPSIS:
The story follows a highly passionate and intelligent high schooler, Senku Ishigami, who with all of the people on the earth has been sent back to the stone age; not really, but a mysterious beam of light petrifies (turn to stone) all the of the living species on the planet for thousands years in which the planet rehabilitates and goes back to the stone age. Senka being the goddamn genius break out the petrification and vows to take the earth back to its modern roots.

Disappointing to say the least. First half is quite fun because it's a survival story; you want to see how these people survive using science. It's a fantastic setup for a manga, but sadly it all falls apart in the second half. The second half is complete nonsense with most characters only existing for comedy gags. The science doesn't really matter anymore since anyone can create anything within minutes. Ridiculous villains show up for no reason just to pad the story out. It's so boring I really struggled to finish this series. If you are going to read it then set your expectations very low.
