Dr. Stone and Jin fit sort of a similar niche of a person ends up in some different civilization that lacks our current scientific knowledge. Dr. Stone is the over-the-top shounen version of this premise -- having survived an apocalypse, Senku is the only person that can restore human civilization, with his super-power level command of math and science, and for a manga about science there's still a whole lot of shounen style fighting. In the meantime, Jin is the super otaku seinen version of this trope. Jin just happens to be a neurosurgeon, and so uses his ultra specialized medical knowledge to save whatever
