Synopsis

The Demon King has been defeated, and the victorious hero party returns home before disbanding. The four—mage Frieren, hero Himmel, priest Heiter, and warrior Eisen—reminisce about their decade-long journey as the moment to bid each other farewell arrives. But the passing of time is different for elves, thus Frieren witnesses her companions slowly pass away one by one.

Before his death, Heiter manages to foist a young human apprentice called Fern onto Frieren. Driven by the elf's passion for collecting a myriad of magic spells, the pair embarks on a seemingly aimless journey, revisiting the places that the heroes of yore had visited. Along their travels, Frieren slowly confronts her regrets of missed opportunities to form deeper bonds with her now-deceased comrades.

Preliminary (130/? eps)
Picked this up after really enjoying the anime, The main difference between the anime and manga is the pacing and simplistic style. Let me elaborate:

The manga feels more like a slow burn and slice of life adventure, even more so than the anime. The art is simple and easy to grasp without going overboard. It does have it's moments but for the most part it's plain and simple.
The real highlight of this manga is the story and characters, Frieren herself is such a well written and extremely likeable character that you can't help but enjoy her whenever she's onscreen. The motivation of Frieren to ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (30/? eps)
At first the story was quite interesting. But the story after that It's pretty neutral and going to sea like "Fumetsu no Anata e". (I read about 30 - 40 chapters.)

Overall the art style isn't bad. As for the story of "sousou no frieren", I think there are better options and some modern shounen have a better perspective, such as "Chainsaw Man" and "Vanitas No Carte," which better present the characters' relationships and the context of the communication of love.

If you've ever played a game with long-lived elves. You'll feel indifferent, and the more you watch "Violet Evergarden," you might feel ...

This is my first review btw so enjoy

ALSO THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS

I want to keep it brief...... This manga feels like it keeps on repeating the same thing that happened with the characters over and over...... It looks touching and beautiful with pretty visual or art from the outside but it's just a facade an excuse for all those sluggish and lazy writing...... I can assure you that in these manga hardly anything happens it's just those type of series where literally nothing happens but still will be highly praised for pretty visuals and somewhat decent characters like we have literally seen this kind of ...
