Both series utilizing the difference lifespan between fantasy races to estabilish plot and world building. It's very obvious in Frieren as it is the story's main plot, while in dungeon meshi it more of a sub plot that gradually revealed as the story uncover character's back story, motivation etc.
Heart warming, calm aproach to the party dungeon theme. Focusing more in enjoying the moment, then destroying the last boss. Imersing in the human relationships with each character.

- Imaginative world building
- Have a good mix of characters dosed with light humor
- Strong focus on the character relationships and their development throughout
