It's finally here, a year and some months later, and after the hype episode zero left for us last year, the hype was there. And jumping right back into it after the Gilgamesh vs. Enkidu "gas leak"... typical Fate with the whole "EXPLOSION = GAS LEAK" lol. But yeah, got introduced to the main girl of this time, with Ayaka.. that was instantly found out lmao. We got a "Zabaniya" and man, man, man. Got to see Saber in action thanks to Ayaka (do have to feel bad for her lol), and man they didn't disappoint in the animation department... which makes me sad knowing that it could've been better if it weren't thanks to Aniplex. But hey, at least Richard got that peak animation, and Francesca got that character acting she DESERVED. But yeah, rip Artoria :( And a Servant getting arrested by the police... Now that's a first. Yeah, glad to see this early, but I don't know if it was worth sacrificing the production... here's to hoping the schedule does get better going from here. |

| EXTREMELY scuffed stream for us international audiences, but my god, I LOVED THIS!! The way it immediately started as a news segment featuring the military response to the Gil-Enkidu fight.... it felt very tense!! It immediately drew me in!!! Sayaka.... I haven't read Fate/Prototype, was the white haired woman her sister? There's an Einzbern maid next to her on Sayaka's flashback... Back on point though - with the immediate police response to Saber's NP.... Seems like Narita will takle what every other Fate series has overlooked so far: External witnesses to the HGW. With the growing digital world cameras are essentially gonna be everywhere - and with Richard's proclamation it seems that trying to hide things will get hard. Makes sense, considering that one of the masters is the police chief. This is the first Narita work I see, and tbh, I definetly can see what they mean with him having excellent character writing. They are all so unique and interesting - and so is how they "interact" with each other. How masters feel and understand eachother is definetly what I'm looking forward to. I also loved how quiet and slow the beginning was after that hook - felt like the episode was slowly escalating From here I only have a few questions: - Why isn't the magus association responding more urgently to the fact that magic is potentially being exposed to a fuckton of people? - How exactly did Saber get summoned? Wasn't the entire point that Saber wouldn't get summoned? - I was spoiled of Francesca's identity, but I've since forgotten it. She comments on having witnessed previous holy grail wars, and she seems to be familiar with OG Saber? - Saber....I already know his identity but.... that NP??? EXCALIBUR?? EDIT: Just rewatched it, apparently the Einzberns do get namedropped, missed it during my first watch. ALSO lol at Flatt trying to appear on TV, that's so cute :3 |

| Art is complete unique to what I seen from anime as a medium, I can't wait for a scene animated like the Gil and Enkidu fight again. The stream was scuffed, the production was terrible if im honest multiple times it lacked professionality with all the low quality audio, curser at the end, overall pacing, not even telling us the episode was released till moments later(we had to figure it out.) But all in the end it was worth it. Flatt in the back of the broadcast was hilarious might be my fav moment this episode or that EXCALIBUR! shi was so tuff. |

| I wasn't expecting to watch fate today but here we are. The quality was scuffed as hell cuz I had to watch this with a VPN and my dumbass southeast Asian wifi but it's aight. Love the artstyle and setting of this one, so I'm excited to see more of it after it's fully released! |

| Regular broadcast and streaming finally started. Been waiting for this to get anime for years. Fate remains one of my alltime fav franchise and this being written by none other than the GOAT Narita Ryohgo the excitement is off the charts. We already got a glimpse of what we were in for in the prologue but now it's finally time to dive in the main thing. |

| It felt a bit rushed compared to the novel, but I still enjoyed it and getting to see best boy Saber have more animated moments! I love whoever is voice acting him in the dub lol. As a novel reader, this will be a fun one to read comments from the anime-onlies as it has a lot of twists and turns. I look forward to the reactions, theories and predictions that y'all come up with as more episodes come out! |

How long will Saber keep being King Arthur or a blonde with the Excalibur sword? lol They could explore other historical and mythological characters with designs that stray from what's already been done in the original universe. It’s hard to consume anything they make like this. There's a lack of creativity both from TM and from those who got the rights to produce these spin-offs. |

| I think this is the first time I’ve had a seasonal anime I picked come out on New Year’s Eve, nice to have something new to watch today to hype myself up for what’s to come in the new year. And damn this was a very nice start, I rewatched the prologue/episode 0 that came out back in Summer 2023 in preparation, and it’s nice to see the quality is still really high and looks amazing, not sure if it’ll maintain that the whole way through but atm they’re killing it, I really love the unique look of the show too. And man it really is tough keeping up with so many characters and factions lol, a lot of names were dropped in this one and not all of them stuck, but I’m sure with time I’ll get them all, but the factions are mysterious on purpose, hard to tell who’s on who’s side besides the obvious ones but I’m interested in seeing how they influence the war. Biggest thing of the episode tho was Ayaka’s servant summoning, I really like that that Francesca girl expected Artoria but instead got a different blonde fella lol, I’m not sure if he’s supposed to be King Arthur too or not but I like his design a lot and his showing was awesome, pretty amusing end to the episode too with him publicly apologizing, and also Flatt trying to get on camera lol, and then the after credits showed even more characters from the church, this Fate series certainly has quite the varied cast, it’s shaping up to be a crazy one. And they used the same song as the end credits of the prologue, it’s a really good one so I wouldn’t mind it being the main ED. And I’m not sure if we’re getting episode 2 next week or what but I’m really excited to see the rest of this show. |

| HOLY SHIT A1 YOU JUST SAVED MY LIFEEEE. My most anticipated anime release of the fucking year finally here and this first episode was incredible. So many references, lore, worldbuilding and then that amazing debut from Saber at the end. I’m mad af FGO spoiled his name for me, I like trying to figure out their true names on my own, but pure chills from that last 5 minutes or so with yet another Sawano masterclass. I love how strange Fake is basically an amalgamation of Type-Moon lore. So much cool shit in this first episode. The Luvia, Reines and Tohsaka pictures in Waver’s office. Einzbern name drop, in n out canon to Type moon universe..ah this had it all, it was kind of overwhelming and my hype is hard to contain lol. I have no idea where this story is going to go and I love that because there’s endless possibilities in this world. Really curious to learn more about why the US is doing this holy grail war and the various ideologies involved. Looks like we got two competing groups of American mages. Loving caster already, he and Francesca are so unhinged. Just a ton of different characters and archetypes in this which shouldn’t come as a surprise since it’s by the Durarara and Dead Mount Deathplay author. Hopefully he can balance everyone and give them some characterisation. Francesca in particular has a great design and seems to know a lot about Artoria and the other servants.. who could she be Speaking of Artoria, we got her in 2024 updated A1 visuals and she looks fucking beautiful omg. Only a view from behind but man. It’s dope that Ayaka’s saber is an Artoria disciple and a huge stan like me lol. That Excalibur was so fucking fire, nothing as crazy as Gil vs Enkidu but I know the rest of the show is gonna be fire. Wonder how they’ll get out of being arrested? Ending got me really hype too because it looks like we got executioners? Strange Fake world is unique since Dead apostles and heroic spirits both exist in this world so this is gonna be fun. Release schedule is irregular but I’m ok with it as long as A1 keep cooking. |

| Not bad, I had fun. The participants (direct and indirect) are getting crazier with every new iteration. I liked the cameos too. Like we even had a glimpse at Gray and other characters from Lord El-Melloi II-sei no Jikenbo in addition to Flatt Escardos. |
| God damn, this first ep was hella interesting. Animation is really good and we have Sawano' goodies. The more Fate series, the better. Btw, how is the airing schedule gonna be like? Didn't see anything mentioned about it aside from 2025. |

| peak first episode, this is the first anime episode i watched in 2025 and this will be AOTY. thank god for narita. this is also the best A1 has ever looked, and that's saying something. i don't mind having to wait if every episode looks this good. no artoria this time but this saber looks absolutely glorious and his speech was so epic haha. glad to see hansa at the end as well, he sounds EXACTLY as i expected. the ost during assassin's appearance was so good as well. hyped for more as a LN reader. my only complaint is that mal says this hasn't aired yet. |
