| I don’t like it. This Nika Bonney. I guess anyone can turn into Nika after all. This is a huge letdown for me. Luffy’s fruit is called Human fruit, model: Sun god. If Bonney’s DF identity isn’t Age fruit, we’ll see. This is bullshit |

If Bonney can do all the things G5 Luffy can do then I'll agree that this development is wack and not it, however, if it only goes to the extent of copying the Nika appearance and maybe having like a "diet" version of his abilities and not the full 100% "toon force," then some of y'all are going to look real dumb talking about "i GuEsS aNyOnE cAN bEcOmE NiKa." Which is already a dumb conclusion to make because....not EVERYONE has Bonney's ability so how could literally anyone else BUT her become Nika 🤦 |

I, much like any ordinary manga reader been led to believe that Luffy is built different. Everything we've been through in this manga for over 20 years, but let's even ignore the 20 years. Luffy been in the seas for 2 years or more. We could argue on the time Luffy spent developing his powers, his abilities, the skills and experience he gained. Suppose to say Bonney lived a life of piracy with all blesses and curses she indulged with for six years I assume. I'm not so sure the density of the life of piracy Bonney been through comes close to what Luffy been through. All that while it's very likely, Bonney sailed the seas more years than Luffy. We can also give Bonney the bonus of age quite early than Luffy. Assuming she started at age 6, while Luffy started at age 17. I dunno. I might miscalculated something here... whatever. The point is, we can be certain that Bonney started as a pirate years before Luffy did. We don't know the battles Bonney been through during her years of piracy. Her DF ability doesn't give her an edge of adding extra force to her physical raws. Not like Akainu, not like Lucci or Kaido, not like Whitebeard. If her Nika is a bluff, fine. If her Nika is on equal foot with Luffy it's a huge red flag. There are moments in the manga I question Oda's thinking: 1. Luffy's promise to defeat BigMom after Kaido. (still looking forward to that) 2. Sanji's decision of destroying his Raid Suit canister due to suspecions. Believing somehow his subconsciousness might caused him to go rogue against his standards. 3. Luffy's promise to Sentomaru of getting Stella out of Egghead alive. WTF happened to that? To think such Yonko can't keep a promise. |

| I hope Bonney joins the crew because at this point, She can't be just left wandering alone after this since she can turn into Nika. So good! Imagine a future where you're free (What Kuma failed to do, Bonney achieved). Amazing opposites. |

| I like Nika Bonney a lot, and it makes sense considering her DF and her entire backstory alongside her Dad's. You can even say it has to do with her buccaneer blood, giving more strenght to that theory of "Joyboy created the Buccaneers". What really worries me is that old theory of "Luffy + Bonney + Paw Paw Fruit are going to use their powers to travel to the past". I thought it was ridiculous, but things are taking a turn when that could be a possibility and I don't like that. But it makes me happy seeing Bonney smile. |

| After reading the new One Piece chapter and thinking about it for some time, I realized that Luffy, as the "Warrior of Liberation," has liberated Bonney. Since Bonney's power allows her to transform into any future she can imagine, her turning into Nika signifies that she is free. Hence the chapter title "I'm Free". |
