| @sillywackygatto My brother in Christ. We just had a chapter entirely dedicated to Yoru giving Denji a handjob in an alleyway. This chapter added nothing to the story or the characters. It's probably safe to say that the writing has gotten worse imo. |

We have problem not because we think it's weird or disgusting, Heck give us Denji's actual sex scene, I wouldn't mind but the thing is we are waiting for so long for actual progression, we are waiting for new chapter for weeks and months, then we suddenly get the whole chapter dedicated to this. Of course our reaction are not normal. Because everyone is not same as the mindless fanboy's of the series who will accept anything thrown them and consider it deep writing. i feel whats been going on in the recent chapters have been totally unnecessary and a wholly gross disfiguration of the characters fujimoto has built up as of recent, sure yoru is a devil and doesn't fully understand humans but her unwavering goal of cutting denji's dick off just to fight him makes no sense if she even thought about it for a second, as well as this ruining denji and asa's relationship together, this whole chapter was just gross and for one i didn't want to live through another evanglion moment and see a teenager cum while having a mental breakdown. i like chainsaw man and i think fujimoto has written some incredible things, this is just not it, he needs to really take a look back (lol) at this whole thing and figure out where to go because i really don't see where it is supposed to go at this moment.

Part 2 doesn't even have Denji as the main character --- Asa is the main character. But, the title of the series is still Chainsaw Man (and thus, Denji's relevance in the plot). Anyway, I don't know if I would be comfortable seeing Chapter 167 of Chainsaw Man animated (if it ever gets the greenlight from the animators). |
