One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100 took their time in introducing well fleshed out characters and villains. We get introduced to generic black haired shonen protagonist and we know basically nothing about him. The first 80 pages of One Punch Man and Mob Psycho already well established their main characters motivations and backstories making them already unique and interesting. Oh well we'll see I guess but the first chapter is a 5/10 for me. |

But knowing that ONE's specialty is character writing, I have hope for this series. |
| What a master piece. Seems like a mix of Isekai and One Punch Man but the plot itself is interesting. Since this is made by ONE, Saitama look alike might be summoned next to help modern humans from extinction. Looking forward for the next chapter. |
| Not an interesting first chapter to be honest, pretty underwhelming as a whole. I'm not a fan of OPM/Mob but their starts seemed more promising at least than the start here. Will give it some time to see if it gets better. |
| I'm obsessed with Mob Psycho and I heard that One Punch Man is good so I gave this a try. One word that comes to mind with this series is "weird." I was SHOCKED to see futuristic mfs with armor and guns showing up. I am actually pretty interested now where this goes. I really like Alio, I don't know if it's a boy or a girl but if it's a boy he's cute and I think him and Hallow should like each other . Just saying! Sucks to hear what happened to some of the other heroes, especially, Abyss, he was the coolest looking one. I'm really interested to see where this goes. Magic stuff reminds me of Black Clover a little. Good start! |

| It was lame, weak. It relied too much on those plot twists and neglected the rest. Way too many characters at once as well. ONE could have introduced them later for at least one death to be meaningful to the readers. Otherwise, it's just, "the hero got hurt but I don't care" |

| ONE's new manga is alright so far. Defeating the demon king, we've seen several of those, but I'm curious to see how it will be interpreted. I do like the humor here with pane especially lol and Hollow still got that spirit in him after many have been subjugated. So there's a past of Hollow and Zaybi (They reunited after 9 years) doing some magic over an apple which was later expressed as something that they didn't summon. Also wtf there are like people from a separate world (It was maybe from Zaybi's ability idk) coming out of nowhere🤣 I do like the unexpected plot twist even if it's too much for a 1st chapter so hopefully in a long run, there can be more expanding towards the worldbuilding. |
| Well, not the best start to be honest from One. This definitly feels like a manga that's gonna get carried by the art, but it's from ONE. There should be some interesting turns and twists later in the manga. For now, a simple maincharacter who got his arm sliced off by a Demon King. |

| I'm not as pessimist as others about this series. I understand how some people were not happy with the way the characters were presented and disposed at the same time, but it just meant that they were never the focus to begin with. All those 75 pages were paving the way for what we see in the last 2 pages. Let's see how fantasy and sci-fi will work out for it. |

You can have an opinion on the 1st chapter, but the bulk of your opinion and review is literally "It's not OPM or Mob Psycho 100". Most manga don't give you a good grasp on the main character from the first chapter, the only way that'd be a negative is if you were specifically expecting another OPM and Mob Psycho 100. Also, saying OPM and Mob Psycho 100 took it's time while then lambasting this one for not immediately giving you the entire rundown on the main character, do you not see the contradiction there? It's not like I rated it that much higher than you, to me this first chapter is a 6/10 since it's all over the place, and I also don't really care all that much for the MC, but I sure as shit am not using the author's previous works as my basis, that's not giving the series a fair shake. |

I was comparing the way mob psycho and opm took its time introducing characters properly instead of bombarding us with shallow characters and events like Versus does. The 80 page chapter could have worked well if it just focused on the main character. That doesn't contradict anything. Also most manga don't have an 80 page first chapter. I used opm and mob psycho as a comparison as it shows what ONE can do which I think is fair to point out. |

| I loved everything, the demons, the way everyone lost and the summoning buildup at the end... But the end itself... I'm really note a fan of this kind of gun fiction with futuristic warriors being a main focus in the series. It was a 9/10 for me, but that end turned it into a 7.5 at best. I will continue reading it, but doubt it will get better. (Strongly hope so tho) |
