Was an ok episode, but all of them so far have been ok. The only thing I question is how his pharmacy has so many people browsing at once. Usually they only have 5 or 6 at most (barring special circumstances,) not 50 or 60 with a line that goes for another 100 feet.

i liked the story and characters here and the pacing was good too
i just felt the Anime dropped a bit in the story quality after the setup in episode 1 but that didn't prevented me from enjoying it
there were times where i felt a bit bored towards episode 8 and 9 but the anime lift itself up back again in Episode 10 and above
overall i think it was an alright a 6/10 for me

Tldr: Alternation done good. At least it is not straying from the actual story path and leaves availability for 2nd season.

Imo, in this arc, Farma is dealing with an illness that he knows well the history, how it procs and the cure. So actually this arc is just merely an "opening" to its actual series. Think the possibility of next arc: disease that combined with magic, unknown magic causing unknown disease or how about "disease" that makes people turn into evil spirit? Medical and technology developments? Battle that actually not related to medical terms and just pure power-show?

Even the other gods' power are not revealed yet, eg the Queen fire god.

I was hoping they could show some more of Camus who was eliminated far too easily. I have a feeling he'll return. If he does, hope they atleast change the VA. They can't just take any iconic character's VA (Zoro) and use it as a key character in another show (Camus here). Unless ofc the VA is a woman (who have better vocal variations). I could only think of Zoro whenever he spoke.

Apart from that, loved the show overall. Something different from other generic isekais. MC wasn't a problematic asshole for once so thats something. Not a fan of mangas but from what I read they cut off some stuff...idk not enough for me to bother about it. Hope this gets more seasons and not get cancelled.

To those saying- oh, it's so boring, there is no action: not every anime needs to satisfy your sadism. i love it exactly because it's not your typical gory, violent harem crap.
Underrated imo.

I feel like it kinda rushed, but still ended pretty well in my opinion.

I thought Farma would stopped the squirrel first, he could use the freeze spell on the squirrel to stop their movement, but he decided to ignore it, this kinda a let down in my perspective.
or he could just build a sudden ice wall for a certain area to prevent it spreading.
also, I thought Farma would come to fight or at least incapacitated the 5 Holy Knight by himself, but turn out it was the Archbishop doing the deed.

and I was wondering, does Farma would eventually tell someone or at least those who know his powers about him being another person or has been isekai'd in the light novel? I think de Medicis family, his teacher, and the Empress has the right to know about his circumtances though.

I really enjoyed watching this series, had a quite lovely pacing, character as well as story development. Had the typical and loved aspects from your typical isekai setting, but also a good portion of interesting medical information and history.

Certainly a lovely setting and range of characters! All in all a very lovely watch!

I.Y. is a curious Isekai, very little harem, very little OPMC combat, with a focus on the minutia of pharmacology. s01e12 actually had a bit of combat, but with stakes only being introduced an episode or two ago, it wasn't really very dramatic at all. Supporting characters get tickle stabbed not very near to death, the world is saved. The big bad is animated as having 2/3 of his face missing down to his skull which is neat but whenever he is shown talking, his jaw just works up and down like a nutcracker so it looks funny.

That felt so anti-climatic. I also feel the score is way higher then it should be as this just felt like another Generic isekai anime.

It was okay 7/10

I'm starting to get the feeling that a lot of anime are a little over rated this was almost a 5/10 isekai for me if the medical stuff wasn't interesting it would have been honestly.

6/10 on the season. it was ok. some interesting stuff (panactheos and the science type stuff). but largely just kind of average. considered dropping this series several times but eventually decided to keep watching

the purifying light that sprinkled down all over the city near the end DIDN'T purify everyone of the black death? then wtf was the point of it? haha

that evil spirit dude... just wanted to kill a bunch of people? he held captive an entire nation just to force them to attack that capital? just kind of bizarre. idk that it makes much sense to me

-No need to think much, and there is no need in this anime. Animes like this are usually easy to enjoy, which I highly apreciate as well.
-There isn´t unnecessary drama, neither unnecessary romance nor exagerated violence; there is no forced comedy.
-A balanced anime and likeable characters, and there is an unusual / different context here which is related to the diseases.
-There is the fact that Farma was acting as if he was from that world from the start, which made things kinda of akward in my opinion, but in general a solid very good anime.
- I was not expecting to enjoy this much as I did, which is always a nice surprise.

Finally, it's over. They really eliminate the black plague. So He didn't come back to his own world? There should have 2nd season or sequel that make him back to real world...

Interesting how readily they all accept micro-organisms as truth when we as a modern society can't even accept the workings of viruses nowadays.
Anyways the show was alright to me, not sure I would watch another season but it tried some news things

It took me a little while to finish this series because of the bittersweet ending. I actually loved everything about this anime. I'm not going to lie, the last episode made me tear up a little because it was the last episode. I really hope we get a second season because it was such a fun series. I will say that this episode was a little rushed, they could've extended this series to 13 episodes. As a med student/ previously a pharm tech I loved all the scientific info and medication references.

Also imagine if covid could've been completely wiped out with a little wand movement and a big sparkly rainbow dome/cloud :O

Viruses don't exist, it's all a myth, KKona.

___ ___ ___

Well, I get it's sorta rushed, but I guess they wanted to fit everything within 12 episodes.

The ending is ok, since they sorta set up the events and powers with previous episodes hinting at stuff that'll happen. (aka, the wand/staff with multiple powers that belongs to the medicine god, and the evil villain uses poison and plague)

Tho we also didn't really get much backstory on the villain and Farma's dad, all they told us is that Camus went crazy with human experiments...

(which isn't all that far fetched in RL world, since a lot of medicine/ cures ARE from human experiments. There's literally a legal profession for that, aka people can be paid to be lab rats in order to see what sort of side-effects will happen and continue trial and error until the medicine/ cure is ready for the public, but before that, many "ethic issues" may happen, such as people legally/ contracted ends up dying or having perma health issues)

(there's a reason why many new drugs ends up on public already with bunch of side-effect warning, cause the experiments are already done on other humans)

(basically, the few that suffers for the health of the majority)

This was like the textbook example of a 5/10 anime. Not bad, not exactly "good" either. It's just there. Tells a decent story, using yet another "what if" isekai premise, with some bland characters, is just entertaining enough to hold your attention, and then finishes the story just as mechanically as the rest of the show.

This anime kind of reminds me the feeling I have when watching By The Grace of the Gods, and I just love the overall atmosphere of this show and I wouldn't mind watching another season. One thing I love about this is that it's about medicine and diseases which is really interesting especially there's is also a virus ongoing at this time, really fits the time to watch this kind of show. I like it overall, I hope there are more episodes.

This anime explored mature and realistic themes. The villain definitely was shunned and descended into madness while researching vaccines. Nobody will take voluntarily putting viruses into your body very well especially in this age setting. A good isekai anime I enjoyed it.

Isekai Yakkyoku" is a Japanese light novel series written by Liz Takayama and illustrated by keepout. It has also been adapted into a manga series. The English translation of the title is "Parallel World Pharmacy" or "Pharmacy in Another World."

The story follows the main character, a pharmacist named Kouya, who is transported to a fantasy world after his death. In this new world, he discovers that his knowledge of medicine and pharmaceuticals gives him an advantage. Kouya decides to use his skills to open a pharmacy and help the people in this unfamiliar world.

Using his modern medical knowledge, Kouya introduces advanced medicines and treatments to the inhabitants of the fantasy world. He faces various challenges and obstacles but manages to overcome them with his expertise. Throughout his journey, Kouya also encounters different races, magical creatures, and a variety of ailments that he must find cures for.

"Isekai Yakkyoku" combines elements of the isekai genre, where a character is transported or reincarnated into a different world, with a focus on medicine and healing. The series explores Kouya's efforts to revolutionize healthcare in the fantasy world, as well as his interactions with other characters and the development of his own abilities.

Please note that my knowledge is based on information available up until September 2021, and there may have been updates or new developments regarding "Isekai Yakkyoku" since then.

1~9 is just "fun to watch anime"

U cannot combine scientific like into magic anime..
U should just focus on scientific or magic way like anyother anime, without too many explanation..
In the end u used magic wtf..

Me gustó que sea un isekai diferente, aunque este re roto el prota sus enemigos fueron enfermedades y la ignorancia de ese tiempo.
