| Yeah Takemichi is dead. I’m unsurprised and underwhelmed. More importantly, I reckon he passed on the time travelling power to Mikey. He held his hand after all and that seems to be the way to pass it on and the receiver doesn’t even need to know they received it (as with Shinichiro and child Takemichi). So the series potentially ends with Mikey time travelling back to the start and saving everyone who died? Or at least does an open ending of adult Mikey suddenly time travelling and having the realisation he can save his dead friends. If that’s the case, what happened to the dark impulses? They disappear completely not when Mikey’s brother died, his childhood friend, his sister or his best friend but when Takemichi dies. A guy who, in all honesty, he never seemed that close to besides the occasional “you remind me of my brother”. I’ll be happy with the open ending route but unhappy that Takemichi’s death is what cleared up the dark impulses unless another reason it cited. |

| I don't understand all of this hate. It could just be because I just love any time travel story but I think tokyo revengers as a whole is just awesome. Can't wait to find out what will happen next |
