Enemy boss w. someone who looks like the twin's father (probably grandfather/ brothers from last series' father?), and Sakamoto-san's character together...

Sakamoto-san's character visited monk guy in training and stole his power to seal her. Then Snow White trick and got present time girl's control for a while so she can unseal her power and remains berserk in that power. It seems like sister girl knows her eyes. So they would have fight each other in order to stop her. The butterfly's power?

Monk guy's daughter visiting her father. Her brother accompanied her to deliver their father's warning to help them. Present time girl stopped her sister using the same way as that lady.

Showing twin's father, who seems to be next to the tree that has twin's mother?

Showing Present time, where teacher (also voiced by Hosoya-san) walking close to her family.

It seems like the twin's mother waking up finally next? 2 more eps.

Really nice to see a bit more of the past and Taishou again, he seemed to be a really nice guy huh.

So the other twin can seal Setsuna's powers as well. Interesting. For a second, they made me think that Sesshoumaru would be the one doing it.

This episode was nice, like the previous two. Wish the entire show was like this.

So Mr. Kirin Osamu is indeed Kirinmaru? Guess if he is planning to do something with Souta.

Next week promises a lot and I can't get exactly what Zero is planning (maybe it has something to do with the fact that Kirinmaru is still alive in the present) , but honestly I hope she is not moving towards her death, at least not this soon (considering an eventual new season, with this pace). I like her. Actually, the "bad gus" (Kinrinmaru, Zero, Riku) are actually pretty likeable in my opinion.

Rin will maybe wake up and Sesshoumaru will finally do something other than walking around. The way they show him working in silence makes it seems he isn't doing anything. Specially because we don't know anything about what is he planning.

Hyped for the next episode.

Setsuna went berserk but good thing Towa was there to stop her.

Towa's teacher says even in this era, so he's from the past?

Totosai's suspicious comment seems to suggest Setsuna may get herself a new weapon in the near future. To make things even more mysterious, after so many years under the Dream Butterfly's influence, Setsuna's youkai form seems to have parts of the creature mixed in.
I doubt we'll get answers to these mysteries this season, but they are nonetheless interesting.

More of the past with the demons, more particularly Taishou, Kirinmaru and Lady "Otsuru" Zero. Their shared bond is uncanny, as is Zero interfering with Miroku about his priestly powers to unlock the demonic seal against Sesshomaru's daughters, with Riku already leading the way from the last episode.

Oh hello Totosai, it's been a while.

The fact that Kirinmaru, Zero, Riku (and even Sesshomaru) were awaiting for this to happen, it's just a matter of time before all 3 half-demon princesses realize their potential to go berserk, but controlling of their powers.

If anything, the fascination that Towa can act like Shori and supress her demonic powers is something new...and Towa's teacher Kirin Osamu, whom like Kirinmaru, could be a threat to both worlds respectively. NGL, this direction would be nice to see ever since Inuyasha: the Final Act.

Mostly a set-up episode for the final 2.

Best episode we’ve had in a month or so. It’s always great to see Inu no Taisha. Zero is probably the most interesting part of this sequel series. I’m really interested in learning more about her. Her motives are a bit confusing and it seems like she’s playing at multiple angles. Definitely a cool character.

I’m curious about Towa’s teacher as well. It seems like it’s someone who can travel between eras.. some really interesting set ups this episode, don’t see them all being resolved in 3 eps.

Zero interfering bigtime this episode. Wanting her brother to go all out against the Yashahime so she unlocks that blood seal from Setsuna. Underhanded tactics from her to send Setsuna on that rampage. The fight between her and Moroha was awesome though, I did like that. The little bits at the beginning of the episode were good with seeing in the past Kirinmaru, Zero and the Great Dog Demon. How they used to work together. Later on seeing more Miroku was good. Every episode showing the sisterly bond between Towa and Setsuna how they always help each other I always enjoy so this was fine, Setsuna still having that blood mark could he trouble. With only two left we got some things to do. Next one looks like a crazy episode

It was a pretty juicy episode. I think this was the first time the great dog general appeared outside the movies. We got to see Sesshoumaru's mom as well. Toutousai also got his cameo. And it turns out the other twin daugther of Miroku is not dead at all although I find it extreme they made her show up 22 episodes in lol.

Yeah the sword upgrade is definitely plausibe since Sesshoumaru whipped up Bakusaiga from his own body plus the currently used naginata is clearly degrading as pointed out by Moroha.

My God, Towa is probably the worst character so far. What an absolute idiot. Also, 2 more episodes left, how are they even gonna end this?

I always felt the Great Dog Demon was a missed lore opportunity on Takahashi's side. I get her story priorities then were on Naraku and the jewel shards, but it seems remiss on her side to not have considered writing or supervising some kind of story spinoff like what some animanga creators do nowadays (ex. Hero Academia spinoffs, Bleach spinoff novels, etc.)

Until Movie 3 (and Yashahime's expansions) arrived to give an idea of the man when he was alive, the manga didn't talk about him very much. The closest Takahashi wrote about him (iirc) was 3rd party mentions and his giant skeleton, but that was about it.

I suspect they might not definitely end it. Given the pacing, they might just conclude this as Season 1 and announce a Season 2 in the future. I think they may be aiming to make Yashahime a longrunning series.

It is one of the worst dramas but at the same time one of the best comedies, only for how bad it is.

PD: Let me guess the character that appear in the present day is Kirinmaru or Riku, worst case a descendant of Riku and Towa.

Towa managed to stop Setsuna. It looked like her teacher is going to do something to her family, I hope he doesn't. Also, this show will have 24 episodes according to MAL, I don't know how they're going to end it in 2 episodes.

The end of the episode, when the comet appear in the modern era really made me curious. I don’t know how this will end in 2 episode, maybe there will be a new season. I’d like an arc entirely set in modern era, would be interesting.

Without a second season, the ending will be an absolute shitshow. And with the current ratings, they better work hard if they make another season of this.

The bit with Toga and Kirinmaru at the beginning was interesting. Kirinmaru doesn't really come off as evil at all, the only reason he has any issue with the trio is some prophecy. We finally get to Miroku and Sango's other daughter and she seems to be quite the joker, I enjoyed Hisui's little digs at her. Was a little disappointed at Beniyasha vs Demon Setsuna, hoped it would've been a longer and more even match-up. The flash forward to the present day at the end is very interesting. Also, why does Towa do something incredibly stupid every episode? This whole mess could've been avoided if she didn't go to Zero.

Oh good, Kin'u and Gyokuto are both alive. That's a huge relief. Now I wonder who's grave Sango was praying to in that previous episode, and Miroku's reason for his arduous training. If we ever get a season two, I hope the twins get more screen time besides just a couple of cameos. Although I do see that they have very different personalities, with each taking after one of their parents.

That teacher near the end ain't suspicious at all.

Now it really feels like things are heating up, with everything that's happened and those flashbacks and even a flash forward to present day. And going by the preview, I guess Zero dies? Too bad it wasn't Riku...I'm not really fond of his character.

2 more episodes to go...

It was interesting to see Setsuna's beserk mode with the wings that she had. Interesting indeed. Good thing Towas was there to save her.

Kinda interesting to see that Towa's teacher talking about the Grim Comet like hes from the past.

I remember people in earlier episode threads commenting that Towa's teacher's name sounded like Kirinmaru. But up until now they really didn't feature much this thing about needing to fight both in the past and the future.

Seem like Zero loved Toga, but Sesshoumaru mom was picked over her. Man, she looks like a total diva sitting, while everyone is standing. lol

Kirinmaru relationship with Toga is pretty straight forward, bromance rivalry.

I want to see Rin interaction with her daughter and husband. XD

With 2 episodes left, I don't think they can wrap everything in one go. Hopefully, there will be a 2nd season.

The fight between Moroha and Setsuna was surprisingly amazing, although short, I still like the effects. I'm always a fan of dragon ball-ish types of fights where there were too many explosions and hills crushed to smithereens.

She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did!

So they are gonna do something with that teacher-suspiciously-named-Kirin. And the comet is gonna make another appearance in the modern day. I wonder if he's actually Riku or something

That butterfly thing with Setsuna was weird. Some streak of blood gave her butterfly wings, somehow tied to the Dream Butterfly? And Rin's waking up soon? Suddenly the plot's going fast

Hmm, does Zero have feelings for Toga? I was wondering why she was so sad to find out he died in the previous episodes.

Now that's a revelation. I never would've thought that Zero and Kirinmaru are siblings.
