In the manga it was more impactful, it was the last panel of ch.107 and the readers were shocked by that cliffhanger. In ep 10 it was in the middle and lasted 2 or 3 seconds.
They should have paced the anime in a way that an episode ends with this scene, would have been way more impactful with just that.

yeah that's true, but I think the point was mostly conveyed well enough, so that's good, not great, but good. The transition was a lil off I feel.

Oh and the levi vs beast titan scene you talk so highly of like peak animation just because it has a lot of frames. You do realise that it has problems of its own right? In the manga that fight was Levi being clean and precise with his strikes and taking down Zeke procedurally. That is why it was so good. Then you have the anime sequence where it starts out being clean and beautiful and then suddenly after Levi cuts down Zeke's second hand you have additional frames for the sake of frames and it looks as if Levi is rapidly flailing his arms around like a madman. Is he fucking trying to shave Zeke's hair there? And nothing noticeable happens to Zeke too. Just Levi flailing his arms around. But that is ok because it is over animated and looks cool I guess. MUH SAKUGAAA all over again. Every time i rewatch that the flailing just looks so odd and takes me out of the beautiful sequence animated seconds earlier with such detail.

Sure, Eren vs WHT could have been done better but with what time they had available and the amount of stress they were under, whatever we got was by no means sub standard. It is quite a good blending and apart for 1-2 moments didn't feel jarring at all. And it followed the tone and plot and didn't add something stupid like WIT did with the fucking flaming glowing berserk Eren in season 1. Remember that shitshow? Or how about removing Mikasa's tatoo? But as long as idiots like you have MUH SAKUGAAA, who care about story, tone or plot right?

What fucking animation do you expect them to carry out in a fucking plot driven episode with exposition tbh? You are one of those idiots who want to add animation for the sake of animation. Probably a constant shaky cam or stupid effects like those in asian soap operas are needed for people like you. You don't understand any bit of nuance at all. If you're watching Aot only for the animation then I'll suggest you to drop it.You don't deserve it.The story in aot is so good that I can even ignore the animation but sadly you cannot do a simple thing.Go read the Manga instead.

I just watched the first episode of this new season and I had to re-check the title, because it seems a completely different anime. All new characters, taking place not in the 9th century, but in what appears to be mid 20th century. Is this really Attack on Titan? I mean, they had armored trains and machine guns. I didn't see anyone I recognized from past seasons.
What is going on here????

I’m excited to see how they handle Zeke vs Levi round 2.

Each movie would be around 1.5/2 hours.

The only problem would be the release of the final movie would probably be around 2025.

Huh? How did you come to that conclusion? You can see ever since episode 2 of season 1 how the boats at Shiganshina use a mechanism that doesn't quite look out of 9th century. Also the odm gear, although it requires a certain resource that doesn't exist in real life as you'll see in ep. 10, couldn't possibly have been made in the middle ages.

It was some French website I think if I remember correctly and people seemed to believe it. It was also after that that Spy and Eslam, which are popular leakers, were hyping something up and saying AOT fans are lucky.

There is absolutely no way they are doing more than a movie let alone 3. It's either one movie or a part 2.

This or 2 movies would be ideal but unlikely imo, the manga sales would increase enough with one movie, i don't think the commitee would want to spend any more resources.

Think they will do the gabi and falco bits and rearrange the kaya bits for later perhaps. If leaks are to be believed they are doing some rearrangement.

There is absolutely no way they are doing more than a movie let alone 3. It's either one movie or a part 2.

It depends on where it ends really. If we end this season with 116 we are absolutely not getting one movie. It's either a Part 2 or more than one movie.
