| It happened to me too. I rated Hyouka a 10 but the ending was kinda a letdown for me. The ending isn't really complete though. The anime went from a 10 to 8. |

| urusei yatsura, the anime is a perfect 10 but it destroys our hopes by the time the movie ends, one of the most idiotic endings ever, so I downgraded it to 9. but the worst offender is renai boukun manga, I rated it at 7 but the last 3 chapters made me gave it a final rating of 4 |

| I Haven't done that because I'm still considering the whole story and I'm not that person who critiques a story only because of the ending. for example, the manga Prison school has a bullshit ending but still considering those hilarious moments so I still gave it a high score |

| Evangelion went from 8 to 4 because of the ending, and The End of Evangelion went from 8 to 1. Those are the most extreme cases, I'm sure there were others too but with hardly more than 1 rank of difference. |

| Most of my scoring is middle ground but YES, I have given poor marks for a shitty ending. I mean how does that? Really! There is part of me that thinks they do that shit on purpose to try and force a second season. Shitty ending deserves poor scores even if 90% of the series is amazing |

| I can remember some from the top of my head. Yesterday wo Uttate went from a 7 to a 6 as the middle started to become meh, then, the last like three episodes crashed it all the way to a 4. I moved Chobits from a 9 to a 7 after its ending wasn't fully satisfying. Darling in the Franxx went from a 9 to a 6, sometimes i'm tempted to put it as a 5 but I can't bring myself to. O Maidens In Your Savage Season would've been a 10 if its ending was just a little more polished, I still had to give it a high score of 9 though. |

| I wouldn't say I gave low score but some anime endings definitely left me dissapointed as I was expecting something better from a good shows like Erased or Trigun. One of those endings was happy conclusion but nothing else more while the other is average ending at best |
| For me it's quite the opposite, I more often bump up anime ratings cause of good endings. Although I tend to drop animes that I’m not keen on so that could be why i never get to the worst ones lol |
| The journey is more important than the destination, but it still matters. I lowered Monster to 9 and removed it from my favourites for its inconclusive ending. It isn't a terrible ending, it's just that I realised I cared much more about secondary characters like Mr Grimmer than the main plot. |
| Oh yes most definitely. The biggest case would be Katanagatari. It was an easy top 5-10 favorite until that ending. Now I score it a 5. |

Agree with you, but I also give a good anime that bored me at one time a low score. While an anime I liked but pissed me off an even lower score. Despite how epic it might have been until that point. When it comes to visuals, story, ending, I no longer put as much value in them anymore. It's all about whether you can enjoy the anime until the end. |

| Because of their poor endings, Boku dake ga Inai Machi turned from a solid 9, or even 10, to a 6, and Charlotte turned from a solid 8 to a 5. |

| Thankfully it doesn't happen often but I'd totally be able to rate anime lower if ending really pissed me off or if it ruined the overall positive feeling I had about anime. I think I gave Bloom into you 7 and not 8 because of ending - last ep didn't solve anything and didn't feel like ending at all which pissed me off. |

| Kyoukai no Kanata's ending was bs, Kuzu no Honkai destroyed the development of its (imo) best character in the ending both cases resulted in a lowering of the overall show score |

| Darling in the franxx, gto, Charlotte, akame ga kill, I lowered Anohana a bit, sun and moon Pokémon, 5cm, chiyafuru, devils line, golden time, grimgar. Lots of shows get progressively worse when they add a new season so I'm not sure what exactly you are asking for. |
