 The official website for Ichigo Animation's original TV anime Vlad Love released a new visual (pictured above) featuring four new characters on Monday. The website's character page was also updated with visuals and biographies for the new characters, though their voice actors have yet to be announced. Nami Unten (Captain of the Dance Club), Maki Watabe (Captain of the Cinema Club), Kaoru Konno (Captain of the Cosplay Club), and Jinko Sumida (Chairman of the Discipline Committee) round out the series' main characters. They join Mitsugu Bamba (Ayane Sakura, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku), a girl with the rare "Chimera" blood type and captain of the Blood Donation Club, Mai Vlad Transylvania (Rina Hidaka, Black Bullet), a vampire cared for by Mitsugu, and Chihiro Chimatsuri (Romi Park, Nana), a foul-mouthed yet kind nurse.  From left to right: Kaoru, Nami, Chihiro, Mitsugu, Mai, Maki, and Jinko Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Jin-Rou) is leading the series, credited as its original creator and as a screenwriter, executive director, and executive producer. He will reunite with its director, Junji Nishimura (Ranma ½, True Tears), for the first time since the two worked on Urusei Yatsura. In addition to previously announced staff and studios, Kazuhiro Wakabayashi (Barakamon, Mob Psycho 100) is the sound director, and Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) is credited with composing the music. Vlad Love was announced in June 2019 and initially scheduled to premiere this Spring, but was later delayed to October. The premiere was delayed indefinitely last week out of concern for the staff's well-being amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
